It is slightly depressing to me, but very, very clever.  Who knew editing Garfield out of the strips would make Jon even more sad?

Ahh, I'm glad you like them :D

I figure since this is a Mario forum, you guys would be more interested/familiar with Mario remixes.. but I admittedly put a lot more work into (and am a bit more proud of) the Earthbound remixes I've created.

I've had a lot of free time lately though, so I'm interested in trying my hand at a more polished and well-thought-out Mario remix.  Are there any Mario songs in particular (preferably one of the more obscure/unique songs) that you guys would like to hear remixed?

I'll take some suggestions and hopefully whip up a song or two for you guys. :p

So I created two Super Mario RPG remixes awhile ago but never got around to posting it, so here it goes:

I made two remixes of the first Smithy battle theme as well as the standard boss battle theme.  You can check them out (as well as my other game remixes) at my website here:

I'd love to hear feedback, so please tell me what you think of them! :)

I have full faith that the American justice system will see to it that this injustice will be brought to.. justice. *cough*

And if that doesn't work, Nintendo will probably do what Sony and Microsoft did and chuck a wad of money at the prosecutor and call it a day.

My thoughts on the mic: Why didn't they just put a mic into the remote in the first place?
I believe it'd have something to do with battery life. I think relaying information like that via bluetooth takes a lot of power. If anything though, it would've been cool if there was an attachment (like WiiMotion Plus?) that let you plug a mic dongle into your Wii remote. *shrug*

You know, I really don't like how everyone has all these negative, doom n' gloom vibes for Nintendo post E3. I can't say that this was the best E3 presentation ever from Nintendo, but I suppose it is a "business" expo now, so it's more about trying to please stockholders and not about trying to please us 'hardcore gamers' anymore. Just because they didn't show all the games we're looking for doesn't mean they forgot about us. And plus, there is still a lot I'm looking forward to though these next couple months.. what with Animal Crossing, Rhythm Tengoku (which was an extremely excellent GBA game, btw), Wario Shake it!, Kirby, etc. etc. I'm sure a big chunk of my income will still be on Nintendo this coming holiday season.

You mean like Chrono Trigger? :p

I would love to see a more "serious" Mario game with a very dark and intricate story line. Some of the Mario RPGs have attempted at it, but I for one would love to see great character development and unexpected plot twists.  I guess it isn't in Mario's character to be in a game like that, but here's hoping...
