He looks mad doesn't he? Like he wants to punch you with his thick arms.
Unless you are cloned, you do not need to look like a midget version of your dad. Okay Bowser Jr.?

He looks fat more than anything.
Remember that your first Goomba boldly you walk? When Mario touched that mushroom being brought up more largely remember that you are surprised? Miscalculate your jump that pit remember that it falls?

Looks kind of like a closeup that would appear in a M&L game, but with less gradient.

Good for pixel art. But not Bowser on steroids by any stretch, he always looks like that. Except with more muscle.  I saw the Mario Bros. on LSD and thought "that's not LSD, that's just making them thin and slightly buff".

If you meant steroids as in "high on awesome", no, nuh-uh. Not close.

Although I was always curious about that green round thing between his eyebrows. Never understood why he has that bump there.

I was actually looking forward to the Bob-Omb as it seemed to be the only thing they didn't mess up. Until the bomb appeared way smaller than I expected. I prefer pronouncing it as the Dino Riders in "Born to Ride" from the SMW show pronounced it, with equal time on both syllables. Bob-omb, not ba-bomb.

It looks to me more like he's angry with you because you didn't give him his coffee. I can't imagine by any stretch that he's on steroids, though.
