Mario Chat / Re: Luigi's Mansion: How long did it take you to beat it?

It took me about 8 hours for beating for the first time and collecting all 50 boos. Very short and east for my tastes.

Sorry everyone, I didn't mean to give out some false information. I was just bored and it seemed funny to me. In SMB he didn't even have his orange hair yet. Just thought I'd get that out.

Maybe you can contact Charles Martinet. He is the one who voices both Mario & Luigi for these games. Ask him why his voice for Luigi has gone up in pitch. Are they trying to spoof Luigi? Maybe make him sound different from Mario? Who knows.

Mario Chat / Re: Your most Magical Mario Moment (MMM)
« on: September 30, 2001, 05:44:30 PM »
I would have to say I have has a MMM in evey main Mario game to date. I have spent many hours on all of the Mario games staying up later as possible until I knew I was too tired to do anything further that night. Then I would end up getting up really early just so I could in as much playing time as possible that day. When ever I beat a Mario game I got a feeling of satifaction and made me want to play through it again twice or more as fast to increase my playing ability. Every moment has been a magical moment to me.

Mario Chat / Re: Nintendo Power Magazine?
« on: September 30, 2001, 05:05:47 PM »
Well, it's not much but I have some of the comics from Nintendo Power on my site that you can download in zip files.

If you care to check it uot it's at:

http://www.angelfire.com/dbz/dentonpro64domain/nester.html

Say "Hi" to Nester for me.

I am also very interested in making a site that has a lot of info from Nintendo Power since I am only missing 20 issues of the collection but time and memory restrict me and I don't want to pay money for a "real" site. If you know of a free website provvider who also provides A LOT of free memory, please E-Mail me!

You can also go to

http://www.nintendopower.com/

but they don't have much either.

Koopa died after Super Mario Bros. when he fell into the lava for the eighth time.

Bowser then stepped in and took his place when Super Mario Bros. 3 made the scene.

Koopa's last gig was being the villan in the Super Mario show. After it got taken off the air his career was over.

Video Game Chat / Re: Please, SEGA... Don't go!

I for one am also happy that Sega is leaving the console business. Now they don't have to worry about competing console just competing games. I've also heard rumors that Sonic could be a secret character in Super Smash Bros. Melee. Wouldn't that be something! I doubt a petition would do anything since Sega has already laid off A LOT of it's workforce now that their not making consoles. Also i wish Squaresoft would come back as well. I would rather have Squaresoft than Sega. Nintendo and Squaresoft need to remember the good 'ol days when they worked together on Super Mario RPG. Being able to see a Super Mario RPG developed by the both of them again on the GAMECUBE would blow Paper Mario out of the water. I hope they come back to our side.
