I think (assuming Nintendo can work out somthing with square) Geno should be in it.  I think some moves he could have are:
b: Geno beam
b + right or left: rocket punch
b down: Geno Blast
b up: Some..teleporting..move..thing.

I still think Sonic would be nice and maybe tails and knuckles as a secret character (hey, Link was in Soul Caliber 2, so maybe Sega can do somthing like that).

When I said a Bowser's Castle stage, I didn't just mean as a boss room.  Plus, The lava wouldn't be "instant death".  Think of the acid on brinstar.  Also, the bridge would repair itself after awhile.  Otherwise, thanks for the compliments!

Maybe the stopwacth would make it to annoying.  You're right.  Of course, I don't think I ment I wanted everything to stop for a long time, I wanted it to slow the other characters down to 2/3 speed for 3 seconds or somthing.  Did anyone like my bowser's castle idea with the brigle you could cut?  I stand by my idea.

Yes, but um well... they aren't all legal.  There are roms (games you can play that are exact copies of the original ones) that you can use with emulators, but unless you own the actual game you are playing it is ILLEGAL.  I'm not even sure that even if you own the game it's legal.

There are also Mario FANGAMES.  These are made by Mario fans for Mario fans, but there are some copyright concerns there too.

I think the hammer bros. idea would work.  They could just be ice climbers clones.  How does the stopwatch from Super Mario Bros. 2  as an item sound? I like the metal melee idea too.  Also, how about Bowser's Castle as a stage? It could have a bridge located in it that could be cut and have everyone on the bridge fall in lava (now where have we seen that before?).

I want Wario.  In fact, why wasn't he in melee?  It would make more sense than adding someone like pichu (who is absolutly useless).

I think it would be cool to see mario kick his butt in an actual game rather than just in those movies randy solem makes.

I like this game A LOT, but I got to the final boss and just can't beat it. Oh and if you don't think the game's graphics are good, try playing the original again. I had a HUGE headache afterwards.

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear about what to do(Even though there have been HUNDREDS of these). What you do is think of a scene from ANY mario game and (just like movie outakes) write about a way in which someone messed up.
Try to make these funny, but try to not make up dirty stories PLEASE.

I would suggest doing somthing different for the main page, (like the election thing), but how about doing a different one when holidays come or when special events happen on the site. If you've ever looked at the sonic stadium, they do that thing so it may be copying.
