Does anyone know how to get past those ants in the sand whirlpool things? I keep trying to get them to jump out and back in but I just keep fighting them. Please help!

To get past Land's End, go up to the
whirlpool and make the creature jump out.
Don't move.  After it disappears, go in the
whirlpool.  After repeating this a certain
number of times, you will get to the next
area.

This area is quite a stumper.  It also helps to watch the ant's rhythm.  He(she?) will usually jump up and go back down very quickly, but sometimes it will stay above for a split second longer than normal.  Just after this pause is the best time to jump in after him.
