Well, we actually did know about this back in March when VL-Tone posted the sprite sheet. Ignoring the point that Miyamoto himself said Luigi is not in the game, the texture really doesn't prove anything. All it shows is that people were guessing what the sign meant based on a texture too small to conclusively base anything on; it doesn't prove Luigi's non-existence in the slightest. Anyway, the "L is real" thing should have been laid to rest long ago, and it seems the other members agree, so locking before this gets out of hand.
