I'd know how you feel if I had a girlfriend...(wink wink).  No really, that does stink.

Don't get back together with him. He just wants you for your NES.

Marlie, I don't wanna sound mean, but you need to get over it. No relationship at such a young age means anything, and 99% of them will not be serious, and will end up in break-up. You can't say that you guys were destined or that you really loved him, because it's not true. Teenagers don't feel love yet. They have simple infatuations. Regardless of what you think, you will get over it. Trust me, I have seen this happen to friends of mine dozens of times. Maybe you shouldn't get back in a relationship for a while if you're going to get this emotionally destroyed. Remember the phrase, "Only fools rush in!" All these things were reasons I was reluctant to get into a relationship for the first time recently, but I felt I needed a better companion.

I'm very sorry for you. But as I have learned from my past heartbreaks, don't dwell in the past and look to the future. Also, don't go for the most beautiful person in the school. You will hate yourself for it.

Actually, teens do fall in love, like that musician that fell in love with a nine-year-old when he was twice her age and they got married a day before she turned eighteen as an insult to her father, but that doesn't mean you will get married to your fourteen-year-old boyfriend(fifteen?).  Basically, yeah, dwelling isn't helpful, unless you're getting paid to dwell.  This sure is an unusual post.  And yet somehow, unusual just doesn't cut it.

Thanks for the encouragement. I guess your right, I shouldn't dwell on it and yes he's getting ready to be 15. I might go far enough to say that we loved each other cuz he's told me he loved me before and I loved him back but for some reason I never told him that. Oh well, I'll find somebody else in the future.
