At a Nintendo conference in Japan this morning, it was revealed that Square Enix is developing a new Mario game for the DS.

Is this for real? Can they make non-RPG games? I wonder how many people got excited over the possibility of SMRPG2 when they saw the title.

Mario Basketball? What a let down. Hopefully it'll be fun if it hopes to make up for no SMRPG2.

Lol I've never seen LD flip out so much before. But I haven't ben around that long. Don't worry, Dude, they could still make SMRPG2 (I was really hoping for the original one with extra stuff though. Maybe that's what you guys meant). At least they're getting back to Mario again.

I don't think we've seen item blocks sunk in the ground since Super Mario Kart. This is interesting.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

I have an idea! Maybe Nintendo can re-release updated SNES title for the DS. The DS has exactly the same buttons as the SNES.

Naruto, Code:Lyoko, Zatch Bell, Bomberman, and Mario Pwns.
