Perhaps the game will include a roster of over four playable characters, including a number of identical Toads with different colour schemes.

I'd rather have Peach and "The" Toad playable, so that I can pretend that it is SMB2, just without the vegetable throwing.

Wait. Europe is sill missing out on Kirby Super Star Ultra? It's been out in the US some time.

According to GameFaqs, it's scheduled for a release in Q2 2009...which we are in the middle of.

Anyway, it looks like all of my wishlist has failed to be realised (as I pretty much expected it would).

I'm really hoping that there aren't any of those ball-rolling/ray surfing parts in SMG2...

Anyway, both SMG2/New SMB Wii look OK so far - my only issue is the Blue/Yellow Toads in NSMBWii...

Earthbound confirmed for the VC (or at least a Mother series compilation cart for the DS)
New F-Zero game announced
New Star Fox game announced
A european release date for Kirby Super Star Ultra

Of course, none of the above will actually happen, but I can dream, right?

King Dedede's event match was a cinch, due to my opponent (who was both giant and metal) deciding to commit suicide rather than fight.

I have surmised that the reason for this is, that my leet Dedede skills were too much for it, and it decided to end the match quickly, rather than suffer a beatdown of epic proportions. ;)
