Anyway, I like the idea of a Nintendo Rock Band, but I wouldn't buy it (seeing as the full guitar/drums set costs a ton of money, not to mention that it isn't really my type of game).

For me I think the M&L games are too much like normal RPG's. All the bosses have 500+ HP, and most of the time I'm not sure if I'm actually doing any damage. Also having to time hammer swings to deflect projectiles, is completely beyond me.

DK isn't technically a mario character because all of his games(except the original arcade games) don't even have a reference to Mario

Have you even played DKC2? Mario (and Yoshi) make a cameo in that game,,,,

Also, if DK isn't a Mario character, why does DK appear in every Mario Kart/Party/Sports game?
