That's pretty funny. Besides minor typos and spelling errors, it flows nicely. I don't feel adequate to rate it, however, as slapstick'esque humor stories aren't really my brand of fanfic.

Nice job, though. Perhaps there should be a spooky Toad-ghost sequel?

I'm going to have to go with Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door right now.

I have to agree with about 95% of the posts, in most cases a Mature-rated Mario game would be completely useless (Mario games don't need profanity, gore, or nudity to be fun).

But if they made one, I would want it to be for a more adult-like storyline, perhaps because it contained certain philosophical concepts that only a mature audience could understand (ala Tales of Symphonia). And with a realistic, complex storyline comes a little profanity and a little gore, but never in copious amounts.

I could say more, but I feel like I'm repeating things already said.

I'm not sure what you mean by "would." You mean if I could only choose one?

I prefer both.

That's funny.

I'll be 18 next month, as will my brother and two of our friends, and we play video games all the time. GameCube and PS2 and X-Box, whatever seems most fun.

So I think when I'm 19 I'll still be playing video games. If I'm not too busy.

Mario Chat / Re: Who do you like better Mario or Luigi?
« on: January 20, 2005, 07:46:56 PM »
Well, I like Mario, obviously. But I have some great reasons!

1) My favorite color is red

2) I'm short

3) I have brown hair but black facial hair (go figure...)

4) Spaghetti is my favorite food

5) My younger twin brother is a Luigi fan. Probably the most Mario-denoting reason I can think of.

A fork? That's insane!

I was fighting a troupe of Pale Pirahnas once and I was almost dead and the stage backing fell, killed the 3 Pirahnas, and my partner, and left Mario with 1 HP. Fun times.

Are you kidding me? Is that actually a petition?

Or am I just naive?

I can't believe I haven't known about the badge shop this whole time!!

32 hours into the game and I never knew it was there. I spent like, 90 coins cancelling that Garf trouble because I couldn't find his key.

I guess I never walked to the other side of the Inn... I need to be more observant.

Woo. Saturday I stayed up until 4 playing Paper Mario. I got enough Shine Sprites to double power up all my partners. Are you sure there are just enough? Because all my partners are powered up but it seems like there are more Shine Sprites to get.

I was about to ask something but I ought to post it in the game help forums...

For anyone who's finished Chapter 5... did you think it was reminiscent of Pirates of the Carribean?

I'm sorry Shawne, but what are you talking about...?

I just finished Chapter 5. Somehow I have like, 25 hours now. I messed around in Rogueport for a while.

We should discuss Badge Setup strategies. I'll try and remember mine...

I think I have 21 Badge Points, and I'm using... Quick Change (7), Flower Saver (4) x2, Spike Shield (3) and Power Bounce (3). I change them around a lot, though.

Does anyone know, are there more than enough Shine Sprite boxes for partners or are they an exact amount?
