I was playing the level in Super Mario Galaxy where mario is on a ball and is like a golf course.Now, the Goombas that are on the field. There are 2 types one that looks like an actual Goomba, and the one that has a ligter shade of brown and is slightly smaller. I was wondering if those were supposed to be there or if they were from the Beta version of the game that Nintendo workers forgot to take out, etc...

I'm pretty sure they're supposed to be there. They're in too many places to be a mistake. They also kill differently than normal goombas.

I think they're supposed to be the type of Goomba from Super Mario World, the more oval kind.

Yeah, I noticed those squat little goombas.

They kind of act as an easier variety; they're a little slower (I think?) and will give you a coin no matter how you kill 'em.

Oh, yeah, my bro pointed that out... beats me, really, but it's kinda cool for some reason--I mean, why should all monsters look the same, even those of the same species?

Their sopose to be space goomba's. That's why they act and look diffrent.

On an entirely separate note, I love shooting enemies with Star Bits, then kicking them into oblivion. Yes, videogames make me so violent...

I know what you're talking about. When I 1st saw them, I figured they look like they're from Super Mario World (SMW)
