super-nonspecific apple crisp recipe
Peel, core, and cut enough apples to fill a baking pan to 2-3 inches
Mix four parts oatmeal, one part flour, one part brown sugar
Add a bunch of cinnamon and nutmeg, and a small amount of ginger and cloves
Melt 1 or 2 sticks of butter and mix in
Spread mixture over apples
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes
Apples should be soft (not mushy) and the top should be crisp
