I played the Beat'n Groovy trial this morning.
It's rare that a game makes me feel insulted, but Beat'n Groovy did just that.
It's not fundamentally bad - it's pop'n music minus the nine-button option, leaving five-button and a three-button mode for beginners - but the fact that Konami doesn't think westerners can handle the real deal (as proven not just by Beat'n Groovy, but also by pop'n music on the Wii and the four-button pop'n music game made for the US) is saddening, to say the least.
