Game Help / Super Mario Bros. DX tips
« on: December 26, 2000, 12:42:54 PM »
Okay, here's a few questions about Super Mario Bros. DX:

1. How do you beat world 8-4 in "SUPER MARIO BROS. FOR SUPER PLAYERS"?
2. I can't seem to get to Bowser while keeping my fire power... I always get hit by a Fire Bar or a Fire Ball (Podoboo). Is there anyway to retain my fire power and beat Bowser with fireballs?
3. How do you get the Yoshi Eggs in the Challenge Mode?

That's all the questions I have for now...

Mario vs Sonic: Who will win? For years, ever since the original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and the Sega MasterDrive (before Sega Genesis) came out, the two companies have been battling with each other; trying to  see who can create the best game characters...

I'm a HUGE fan of Mario (and Nintendo), but I also love Sonic (and Sega). When will the Mario-vs.-Sonic/Nintendo-vs.-Sega war end?

Another thing:
I've thought about getting a Sega Dreamcast and buying Sonic Adventure for it... Is it worth it?

I was wondering... If I was to buy one of the new systems...

Nintendo 64/Nintendo Gamecube

Sega Dreamcast

Sony PlayStation 2

...which one would be the best choice?

I personally think that Nintendo Gamecube will be the best, but what do you think?

Why you little... Game Boy Color is a Helluva lot better thatn Neo-Geo Pocket! The only games for Neo-Geo are rip-offs and/or liscensed games made by other companies (i.e.: Sonic the Hedgehog)! If you don't respect Nintendo, Mario, and Game Boy, then you'd better get you lousy ass out of this site!! (Sorry for being so cruel, it's just that I get so mad when people disrespect Nintendo...)

Thanks for all the info. Iv'e got another question, why did they cancle the cartoons? They recieved good enough ratings to stay on the air but why did they suddenly cancle them? And will DiC ever make another Mario cartoon series (based on Super Mario 64 or something)?

SUPER MARIO ADVENTURES: GAME 1

STORY
After defeating Bowser and his Koopa Clan in Super Mario 64, Mario decided to retire from his Princess-saving, Brick-smashing adventures and live peacefully with his brother, Luigi, and the Princess in the Mushroom Kingdom.

One day, the Mario Bros. were resting in Peach's castle, when suddenly there was a knock at the door. Standing outside holding a pamphlet, was Toad, the Princess's royal servant and messenger of the Mushroom Kingdom. He handed Mario the pamphlet, which said:

Dear Mario Bros.:

It's me, Bowser! I've finally done it! I've captured your King and taken him to Dark World! He's here in my castle, if you even dare try to rescue him… Ha ha ha! Oh, and not only that, but I've also stolen the 10 Magic Keys from Peach's castle! Ha ha ha ha!

Bowser, the Koopa King

Mario and Luigi looked at each other in shock. "Well, here we go again!" Luigi said in a distressed tone. The two of them walked off toward Bowser's Castle, without realizing the dangers that lay ahead of them…

Yes. Unfortuantely, Super Mario Adventure (the title) was changed to Paper Mario for some dumb reason or another. Super Mario Adventure is the same thing as Paper Mario, except for the title change...

I would have preffered to keep Super Mario Adventure as the title, cause it sounds cool. Paper Mario makes the game sound like it's some kiddy game like Mario is Missing...

Anyone got ideas for new Mario enemies? If so, post them here...

I've got an idea:

GOOMBOT - A Goomba that was turned into a robot. It spits spines from it's mouth.

BLIBBY - An octopus that grabs you with it's tentacles.

FIRE BEETLE - A Buzzy Beetle that has a shell made of fire. It spits fire balls.

ICE BEETLE - A Buzzy Beetle that has a shell made of ice. It freezes you if you touch it.

That's all...
