I bought a a 16-gigabyte iPod Nano at Costco today. After giving the clerk the
oversized cardboard voucher required to redeem the device, she billed us for an appropriate $198.97... and then mistakenly handed me a 120-gigabyte iPod Classic, worth about $300, instead of a Nano. After momentarily contemplating taking advantage of the error and leaving with it, my conscience kicked in and I alerted the clerk of her mistake.
I left that store with a 16-gig iPod and a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. Later my dad said that I should've taken the Classic because Apple makes too much money anyway. This begs the question:
What would YOU have done, TMK?
