Professed straight people that use homophobic rhetoric like Weegee's use of the word "gay" above have been shown to be aroused by gay porn.  http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8772014

Hold up, was that intended to offended him? That's making out gay porn to be a bad thing. It would've been better to criticize him for doing it.

Even saying that, supposing that attempting to get people to reevaluate their beliefs (every time the topic comes up) was actually your intention, then don't you think calling it "nonsense" or another derogatory word is much less effective than respectfully explaining your point?

Point taken. I apologize for being a huge jerk about it.

It wasn't a criticism.  It was a suggestion.  He might be a little more tactful than his father though.

I can hear the porn my dad is watching in our living room.

I don't think his a stranger to porn anyway.  He's brought it up over a dozen times that I've seen.  Besides, I've suggest similar in the past:

Turtlekid1, you should try to be gay.  Really try.  Give it a few of weeks.  Go on a date.  Watch some gay entertainment.  Look longingly into your dates eyes for several minutes.  Make out.  Enjoy it.  Want to do it again.  Be gay.

If you can force yourself to be gay, really gay, then it is a choice.  If you can't decide to be gay then someone who is gay probably can't just decide to be straight.  If you find it impossible to change your sexual orientation then stop calling others people's orientation a choice.

Do this sound like a fair challenge?

Edit:  Angst.

About the Wii U controller, it looks like something from Apple and is therefore gay.
Truth.
What are you n00bs talking about? Apple wouldn't be caught dead releasing something with that many buttons, sticks, triggers, and visible sensors. It looks like something from... Nintendo.

lulz for taking my comment seriously. I just hate Apple.

Wii U isn't a bad name either. My only complaint: what does the U stand for?

My guess is that while it's a sequel to the Wii (brand recognition and all), the screen on each controller forces more of a focus on controller, and, by extension, the person holding the controller; you. Or U.

I guess that makes sense.

On releated angst: I seriously hope the system comes with at least one more Upad, because having just one per system and not selling other Upads individually just sounds silly.

Q: Will players use two touchscreen controllers or will they use just one new controller and the original Wii controls with the new console?

Miyamoto: Our basic premise is that you can use one with a system. If we got to an idea of having multiple (controllers) it might be just more convenient for people to use their Nintendo 3DS and have a way to connect that.

That being said, we are doing research about if someone brings their controller to their friends house and they want to play together on Wii U to whether or not something like that would be possible.

In the press conference I recall Reggie saying that it's suited for your specific needs, meaning you can play it in a variety of styles. Use all buttons if you want, or use none; use both buttons and touch screen controls if you want. That's something I really like about this console; it really gives the player control on how they want to play the game. On top of that, it has the potential to give unique play experiences that no other console is capable of giving.
The Mario series is the best! It has every genre in video games but RTS'! It also has a plumber who does different roles, a princess, and a lot of odd creatures who don't seem to poop!

I wonder how many pronouns they'll work their way through before they decide to make a normal console again.

But seriously, so you can only have up to one person using the touch controller with the system, and otherwise it's Wii remotes all around? Well, shoot, no wonder their stocks went down the crapper... is this a separate piece of hardware, or what?
