From what I can tell, it appears instead of a giant hand pulling the-a combatants from a toybox, they are trophies which come to life, and since there's a picture of-a Luigi trophy, that can only mean one-a thing! Hahahaha!

That whole "can of spaim" thing down there is a quote from the Super Mario Bros. movie.
