Video Game Chat / Re: Rayman Raving Rabbids
« on: August 13, 2006, 11:14:00 PM »
I'm not a big fan of the Rayman series, but I own Rayman advance. It was pretty fun. I wasn't very interested in this game at first, but after reading an article about in Nintendo power, I'm convinced it will be a solid title. The Rabbids are probably the coolest Rayman enemies ever.

Yes it is exclusive to the Wii!!

Actually, I beleive The game will be available for all current-gen systems as well as all next-gen systems. But the Creators are focusing alot of their attention on the wii version of the game, due to the innovative controller. This supports the theory that Ubisoft loves the Wii.

Now I'm wondering if you'd get the same effect of a Mega Mushroom by eating 100 Super Mushrooms...
[/quote

Probably not. My theory is that when Mario gets a power-up had he has already touched, it has no effect on him. For example, when "Super" Mario touches a super mushroom in the games, he remains the exact same hight and hit points.

That's a good theory, the chef. But would that mean that Mario was hit by an enemy before the begining of the original SMB?

Or perhaps the games exaggerate how much Mario grows when he eats a super mushroom? For example, when Mario collects a super mushroom in the game, he doubles in size. When he collects a super mushroom in "real" life, he would only grow a couple of centimeters.

^Um... LD, I can't see the image.^

Anyway, you know you're obsessed with Nintendo when...

-You stole a wii, it's sensor bar, a wii-mote and some games from E3 to play at home.
-You practice your jumps everyday in hopes you may one day be able to jump as high as Mario
-You create a fully functional, scale F-Zero racer.
-You are arrested for carrying an arm cannon. In your defense, you say you wanted to be like your hero, Samus.

Considering the brick wall is not a pokemon, the TM BRICK BREAK destroys the brick wall.

I'm the last one alive? Yahoo!...Wait, this isn't good. Now I have to hunt the Wumpus. Well, the final battle deserves something special...

Robert looked around him. He was nearly trembling in fear. At any given second, the Wumpus would emerge and kill him, thus placing his entire journy in vain. Never the less, Robert managed to muster up enough courage to shoot his mighty returning arrow, which he has had this entire game, into room 14. He waited anxiously for the arrow's return, hoping that it would be covered in the Wumpus's blood.

I think Baby Wario will be able to place bob-ombs on the ground in addition to collecting coins with his giant magnet. However, the bomb will explode about 1.7 seconds after lighting it, so you'd have to run like the wind away from the Bob-omb to avoid dying in the explosion.

Baby Bowser would, obivously, be able to shoot Fireballs from mouth. Maybe he could also power up your ground pound so it caused vibrations in the ground. But that would be a bit too powerful, so maybe not.

I don't know what Wi-Fi play would be like, though. Co-op, maybe?

Oh, and I'm pumped and ready for my fight! I wonder who I'll be battling?

This sounds like a great idea, SB. Do you still need more players? If so, my speshal ability is the power to lift things with my mind and toss them at incredible speeds. I'm pretty sure it's called telekinisies. If you don't need any more fighters, then could you put me in the fight after the next one with same ability? Thanks!
