Here's the game, kids!

Guess how much money I, Lizard Dude, have spent on the World of Warcraft online game. This total includes games (including the CCG since it can affect the PC game) and subscriptions but no other items (t-shirts, manga, pen-and-paper RPGs).

You may submit ONE (1) guess via PMing me your dollar amount. Any guesses past the first will be ignored.

The closest guess without going over will be declared the winner. Winner shall recieve EITHER A) $5 through PayPal to account of winner's choice  OR  B) Choose Lizard Dude's sig and/or CT for two (2) weeks. Lizard Dude reserves the right to withhold any prize if deemed neccessary.

Winner will be announced at 2:00AM Central Deezer Time on Thursday, May 31, 2007.

This thread is dedicated to helping us (me) get the first 9 slots of the Sinnoh Pokédex filled. This has always been one of the most dastardly parts of the series, but now we have the internet on our side.

Don't post friend codes here - do it in this thread. This thread is dedicated to seeing who has what starter and WFC access. If you're doing this, try not to evolve your starter until you've cross-traded it to the rest of the group (but once we have a group with all three starters and we've got that level of evolution complete, feel free).

Also, if anyone is using another copy of the game to "farm" starters, you could let us know and dish those out instead.

I have TURTWIG and await your responses.

The real reason I created this thread is to share a little story, but it brings to light the fact that there may be little things that people don't know about the Wii. We can talk about them here. Also notice I did not title this thread "Siicrets of the Wii", because I'm not retarded. Ahem:

You know how when you press a button on the remote when it's off, the lights will flash for a few seconds? Well last night I happened to do this and only the first three lights flashed. "Darn it!" I thought. "The fourth light stopped working!" It somehow dawned on me that maybe these lights were actually a battery indicator, and my batteries were now 1/4 drained. Sure enough, when I checked the Home Screen's battery indicator, the little graphic had 3 of the 4 possible battery bars showing. So that's what the lights are for! I hadn't ever seen this mentioned anywhere else on the internet, so I felt proud for making the discovery.

5000th post! Woooooooooooo!

I now become the second Fungi Forumer ever to reach the big five oh oh oh. This place started as something to do while bored and waiting for my mom to take me home from her school room but ended up changing my life to a great extent. I made many awesome long-term friends, took a trip to LA, had a dude come to my house for a week of adventure, was inspired to make a bunch of cool movies and writing because I had an audience that could appreciate it, and probably own way more games and am way more of a gamer due to this forum. Thanks to Deezer for making it possible and thanks to all the members for making it a community. Here's to my next 5000 posts! Maybe I'll beat Chup.

With that said, to celebrate I'm giving away a free game of the winner's choice (MSRP $60 or less) assuming I can actually obtain it. The winner will be randomly selected from everyone who posts in this thread in the next week who registered prior to this post and has more than like 20 posts.

Me personally, I accidentally scheduled a "hang out" on the 14th with a girl. We've been meaning to play Magic and DDR for a while and the day happened to work with our schedules. Then this other person heard us talking and said, "Ooo, you guys have a date on Valentine's Day?" And we were like, "lol who cares?" Sorry mine wasn't very romantic. :P

P.S. This is the first DS WFC game I've ever seen that almost acts like a multiplayer game should. You can see if your friends are online and what specifically they are doing. Friend games have lobbies and it's 6 (!) player.

P.P.S. Too bad they borked the DKR item system by adding a 1st place seeking weapon (think Blue Shell). The absence of loser-helping stuff like that is what made DKR better than MK64. Not that modern Rare apparently realizes this. Taking out bananas I agreed with, upon much thought, because that really was a winner-helping feature, which also isn't a good thing to have.

P.P.P.S. Not to mention the added "features" of the DS version are the biggest giant load of poop that ever got excreted from Rare. Wait until you try the fourth genie challenge.

P.P.P.P.S. Oh yeah, and the changed voices, especially on the genie, is the largest feeling of rape my childhood has ever had.

P.P.P.P.P.S. And the water looks like CRAP.

P.P.P.P.P.P.S. You know you want to buy this game and play me at multiplayer. There's no snaking!
