As long as the censors catch it, it's fine. There's no "no swearing" rule.
Remember that your first Goomba boldly you walk? When Mario touched that mushroom being brought up more largely remember that you are surprised? Miscalculate your jump that pit remember that it falls?

While the rule in mention is "No deliberately getting around the censors," you shouldn't bother trying to invoke the censors, anyway. That's common sense. The censors are for some of the most heinous choices of language (to fix it immediately), the moderators determine what is going over the edge.

So don't be spreading foolish logic.

I think the censors should just be turned on by default and be allowed to be turned off by people who don't mind swearing, as they are now. If people who don't like it don't see it, then where's the problem?

The problem is that the original parties still swear. In public. This is not an issue up for debate on the Fungi Forums.

I hate swearing and I don't want to see this every day.  Ahem:

I totally beat the [beep] [beep] out of that [beep] yesterday because he [beep] [beep] me off by calling me a [beep]!

That could get annoying.

Censoring is almost as annoying (and almost as insulting) as what it covers up. That's why I make it my goal to make censoring a funny occasion, usually.

I'm starting to get confused here. I wasn't aware the "mods" had some sort of hive mind.
That was a joke.

I actually don't mind a little swearing (like TC's comment) unless it's something extreme (like Tendo's Dirty Chips topic before it was edited).

Tendo wrote a story about something nasty. He then edited it to be less nasty.

I wasn't aware the "mods" had some sort of hive mind.

While I didn't explicitly say that the moderators all individually decide what's "going over the edge," I didn't say they decide together, either. So I don't think I described them as a collective that strongly.

how do you turn off censors?
What ever you do don't press Ctrl-W

The same way you become a mod.  By bringing Deezer the head of another mod.
