A few weeks ago, my girlfriend and I got into a "If we had kids, what would we name them" conversation. I said "if it was a boy, I would name him Mario". She gave me this look and said "his name will NOT be Mario" and we never spoke of it again. Now I love Mario and I love my girl. Fellow Plumber lovers, have I gone too far??? Can I get some feedback?

Mario? uh......yeah, definitely too far. Name 'im/'er something cool like;

(these would be my person choices)

Girl:
1. Amanda (I've always loved that name, even though my worst enemy shares it)
2. Molly (after The Unsinkable Margaret "Molly" Brown)

Boy:
1. Cal(edone) (I've loved this name ever since I heard it from "Titanic")
2. Arthur (After Arthur Rostron, captain of the SS Carpathia)

I have a snapping turtle named Ali Bowser. I'm not sure where the "Ali" came from...but that's his name. He's only 3 years old but from day one he's been one mean turtle.
..I know it's not the same as naming your kid something like Wario but its neat.

I dont think that you went far at all. I think that would be a sweet name to have for your son! But I would never be able to name my child that, "she" would never allow it!
