well, reffering back to the guide I half made....which I cant find. Im goin off memory so this may be wrong.first save the coup;e or whatever in the near house for a Flower something. then go save that family with the stupid bouncy kid for a flower tab. When youre actually inside the palace, work your way up to Peach's room. you can get fully restored and a save at any time. Next go down to the vault for new prizes! Then go talk to the vault guard (in the guest room) for a wakeup pin. Mack (the boss) is easy. just have Mario keep superjumping him and have mallow restore hp/fp. when the bodyguards come to protect mack, have mallow use thunderbolt or whatever its called. It should take them all in one hit...if youre strong enough. remember to use all the flower things you have before the battle. (flower tabs/jars are very very useful. not only to they give you more FP, but they also fully restore your FP! so thats why you should use them strategically instead of aS SOON as you get them. they are great for places where you cant get to an inn.)
2 honey syrups might not do it, depending on how strong your characters are, and how good you are (you can get a freebie sometimes if you prees y or b or something at the right time when using an item.)Just to be safe, get 3-5. As for the Shysters, I went around killing them for exp and $. when your hurtin, go rest in the inn for a measly 3 coins. I think I gained a level by killing shysters, and that really helped mallows thunderbolt in the fight with mack. plus you get alot of extra money! everybody loves money!
