Has there ever been official word on what the "P" stands for in these objects' names? Or how about the "N' on the backs of the cards in SMB3's matching game? Is a P-Wing related to a G-string?

A week until release and still no thread? For shame.

I'm really excited for this one. Probably won't be uploading too many levels of my own, but I'm looking forward to playing the few good stages amidst the sea of ones shaped like reproductive organs. With any luck some of the missing features (slopes, certain enemies, etc.) will be added in as DLC.

Any level ideas you've come up with?

Nintendo's official character manual, from 1993. It also outlines Mario's certified character traits. Mario is tolerant towards all except those scaly yellow/green-skinned *******s.

Just picked this game up the other day, and... it's a doozy. Think portable RuneScape without the MMO elements with some Dragon Quest IX, Rune Factory 4, Monster Hunter, Harvest Moon, and Animal Crossing thrown in for good measure. A timesink extraordinaire. An exercise in self-sufficiency.

Anyone else playing?

How are you supposed to get past this area? Bouncing off the enemy knight doesn't take you far enough to get past the lava, and the Phase Locket doesn't work.
