That's a weird statement, because it was never exactly considered a "classic" in the first place. Yes, people love it and Michel Ancel, but it's just obscure enough that the people who call it classic are just its fans.
That was a joke.

The Rabbids games did it in, I think.

More to the point, Rayman games aren't on Steam you doof. I don't think they're on PC at all, actually.

I got the MOTHER 3 Handbook. I preordered it so it also came with a courage Badge keychain. It's got an extra sleeve that disguises it as the Pork Army Survival Manual. The back of it reads as follows.

Describes and clearly illustrates a vast array of topics including:
  • Proper doorknob usage
  • Toys as weapons
  • Weapons as toys
  • Wild Chimera encounters
  • Survival retreat
  • Statue avoidance
  • Frogs as ATMs
  • Railroad track safety
  • Curing nausea
  • Trusting strangers
  • Distracting enemies
  • Irritating enemies
  • Table driving
  • Dung exchange rates

And there's more.

Also today something coincidental AND ironic occurred. But I think I'll make it into a comic instead.
Oh carp, that reminded me that I needed to preorder that. Then I forgot. Twice. -_-

I got my Nintendo DSi today, with Pokémon Platinum. I gave my original Nintendo DS to my mother, who is enjoying Brain Age.

I plan on getting a DSi once I pay for food, sleep and shelter.

pay for...sleep

Do you have some weirdo come in through your window and keep you awake at night until you pay him to leave you alone?

Well, I just beat F.E.A.R. 2 over at my friend's house, and I can safely say it has the most god[darn] disturbing ending of any game I've played in the last few years,

So disturbing that you tried to end a sentence in a comma, from the looks of things.

So, I got my hands on Pokemon Platinum recently.  This is actually the first Pokemon game that I have purchased at its original release date.  Well, there was Leafgreen, but I don't think it counts because it was a remake of Pokemon Blue, a game that I didn't even play until about five years after the Pokemon craze first hit our shores...or was that when I was still into hating them, after being a fan for about five years?  For those of you who are newer here, I had a checkered past as an AP ( that's "anti-pokemon") advocate.
I always figured "Time to tip the scales" was Wario's everyday motto.

Say what you will about the Pokemon media empire, but the core games continue to be great--and improve on their predecessors.
