Uh, no. I highly doubt the N-Gage 2 will be a success, seeing as how terribly the original sold.
Nokia is already making a new N-Gage just months after the first N-Gage was released! Well, I congratulate them for trying, but Nokia should realize that their first system was a failure, and that will ruin their reputation.
This is my opinion, nobody else's.
What Nokia should do to improve on their terrible design of the first N-Gage is this:
1. Make the screen larger. A bit bigger than the GBA screen.
2. Have a seperate area for number buttons and game buttons. And do not mix the game buttons with the number buttons, that is just way too confusing.
3. Redesign the system so that the game cards are inserted SEPARATE from the battery compartment.
4. Make the battery last longer.
5. Encourage more third-party developers to support the system with QUALITY games.
6. Make the N-Gage's price less than $300, possibly less than $200.
7. ADVERTIZE the system more! More advertizing means more people will become interested in the N-Gage. Sony and Nintendo know how to market their games, Nokia needs to learn from them.
If Nokia can improve the N-Gage successfully, then I might change my mind about the system. But for now, I will continue to doubt their success.
All I wanted was to hear your opinions on the N-Gage, I wasn't trying to start a war at the forums...
