The Yoshi's Island glitch that smfan1085 mentioned is working in the SNES version. I have been testing it with EggVine.

However, it is still being a glitch.
If you are losing a life in -2, Mario will restart UNDER a bridge and you will have no choice but to accept the defeating!

The -1 from the cartridge is still in existing!

In the FDS version it is Coin -1(World 45)
In the cartridge it was World 35.

In the FDS version, be sure to take a peeking at Q-1. It contains a Warp Zone like the one that takes you to -1 in the cartridge version.
