Author Topic: Questions about Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, and Baby Bowser  (Read 2597 times)

I was wondering about the baby characters.  Although SMW2 is a great game, it screwed up the story-line.  Baby Mario fell on a full grown Yoshi's back.  In Yoshi's Story, the Yoshis were kids.  Anyway, it says the kids are twins, and Mario is a few years older than Luigi, of course.  Next, regular Mario enemies inhabit the world, and they have been stated as Bowser's Troops.  As a Bowser generation, you never know.  Anyway, Morton Sr. died when Bowser was young, but does that mean Baby Bowser is Bowser's son?  What about the other Koopa Kids?  Could Baby Bowser be Wart's son?  And maybe Bowser's an uncle?  (Suggestion) and Baby Mario and Luigi are related to the Mario Bros. in some way?  Cause they definately aren't the real things.

The story line for both Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Story explain the childhood of the Mario Bros. and the Yoshis.

Here's my interpretation of it...

'Yoshi's Story' happened after 'Yoshi's Island'--thus explaining why Baby Bowser adresses Yoshi as "Mario's little pet". The Yoshi's in 'Yoshi's Island' are the parents of the Baby Yoshi's from 'Yoshi's Story'.

After Baby Mario and the Yoshis defeated Kamek and Baby Bowser in 'Yoshi's Island', Baby Mario was safely transported (by a stork) to the Mushroom World (Baby Bowser must not have learned of the Mushroom World's existence--otherwise he would have been trying to take over it instead of Yoshi's Island).

Years later...
Baby Bowser once again tried to take over Yoshi's Island by stealing the Super Happy Tree (the plot of 'Yoshi's Story'). Successfully, the Baby Yoshi's foiled his plot and cast Baby Bowser back to his underworld domain...

Several years later Bowser, now ful grown, tries to take over the Mushroom Kingdom... and as you all know, the rest is histroy...

I hope this clearly explains the origins of the Yoshi's and Mario...

"Bwa ha ha! Guess who it is, loyal Mario fans...

It is I, King Bowser... ruler of all Koopas, big and small. I have come to take over the Mushroom Kingdom (no, not the place...I mean the WEB SITE!)! Deezer, you will surrender your troops to me, or else you will never see your precious Mario again! Bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!"

Yah but, Mario and Luigi were characterised as twins, which we all know they're not!

Mario and Luigi are twins, but Mario came out first. Mario's probably only between 3 minutes to 7 hours older than Luigi.

People read too much into the Morton thing . . . I don't think it was ever meant as a statement on his parentage.  Bowser's his dad, same as the rest of them.  His name is just an obscure reference to a real person, like those of the rest of the Koopa Kids.
