It's a Mario Party 3 Duel Mode style forum game, 2 on 2. This is like the MP3 Duel mode, only now we have items and a Power Gauge for powers specific to your character(got the idea from Advance Wars). The gauge is 8 units long, and certain characters build theirs faster than others, while the longer the build time is usually a more powerful move. Once it's full, it can be used on your turn. The characters and powers are as follows.

Character: Power-Description, Units built per turn

Mario: Movement-Choice of moving with 3 Dice Blocks or putting 1-3 curses on all others, UPT=3
Luigi: High Jump-Jump to anywhere on the board, UPT=2
Peach: Servant-Peach's servant Toads get her a random item, UPT=3
Yoshi: Egg Bomb-In addition to a partner's attack, a direct 1 HP hit on opponent is taken, UPT=2
Wario: Crush-Wario uses his weight to crush an opponent's partner while in battle, UPT=2
DK: Impound-x1.5 damage is done when attacking, UPT=2
Daisy: Counter-When hit directly, Daisy makes a 2 HP counter on attacking partner, UPT=2
Waluigi: Backward-Choose to move backward instead of forward, UPT=3
Bowser: Earthquake-All opponents take 1 HP of direct damage, UPT=1

I'll recollect all the partner, space, and item information once I have 4 players. I also still gotta come up with a board. I can also see that Yoshi is a popular character for people on these boards, so whoever wants him, reply first.

Let's try this again....

I don't think it would be right if you couldn't choose your guy. If you want Yoshi, better swipe him fast! And if you pick Peach, if you have three items and a full power gauge, you can choose to have the item sent to your teammate. Also, you get to choose one of these partners and alignment(front or back) for the start.

Goomba - A:2 D:1 S:2 Sp:None
Koopa Troopa - A:1 D:2 S:1 Sp:None
Shyguy - A:1 D:1 S:2 Sp:Steals 5-10 coins from opponent on attack
Bullet Bill - A:2 D:3 S:4 Sp:Random target
Hammer Bro. - A:3 D:2 S:4 Sp:50% chance of missing target
Monty Mole - A:1 D:2 S:4 Sp:Sometimes digs up items
Whomp - A:0 D:4 S:3 Sp:None
Boo - A:1 D:1 S:2 Sp:Counterattacks if hit
Buster Beetle - A:1 D:2 S:4 Sp:Throws blocks hitting opponent directly
Pirahna Plant - A:3 D:1 S:3 Sp:May find another 1-3 Dice Block
Toad - A:1 D:1 S:1 Sp:Prevents board Coin loss
Lil' Sparky - A:2 D:1 S:3 Sp:Steals 3 points from opponent's power gauge upon hit(even if hitting partner)
Chomp - A:1 D:3 S:5 Sp:Hits all members in a group
Bob-omb - A:4 D:1 S:2 Sp:Most powerful attack, but explodes after one hit and can't be powered up

Oh. For a second, I thought Super Mario 123187 was back.

None shall dispute my word!
That was a joke.
