Will anyone from TMK be at the E3 Expo this year?

I would go if I could get a pass.

Huh? I thought E3 was only for people working in the gaming industry... Is E3 open to the public now?
People who like video games should also like Nintendo. People who don't like Nintendo obviously don't like video games.

No, it's not open to the public.  Just the gaming industry and media.  Didn't Dave go last year?

2004 - Deezer, MEGAߥTE, and hopefully me.

2005 - Chupperson, Watoad, and I have plans. Maybe others.

How can TMK be considered a member of the gaming industry? Is the site licensed or endorsed by a proffessional company?

Anyone can make a fan site and claim to be involved in the gaming industry.

TMK would better fit into the category of "Media."

Plenty of websites are able to get in through that distinction. It's quite the opportunity, if you ask me.

MEGAߥTE and David went last year, yes.

Mario Maniac: We're hosted by GameSpy. That should give you at least a little clue.

Don't you also have to be 18 to attend?

Thanks CW for clearing that up for me... Well, I can't go to E3 because I am not a moderator of this site... Boo-hoo...

Count me in! ...Waaah! I'll probably have to wait 'til 2006... ;___;

I think it'd be really fun to someday go to E3, although as of right now there are several things preventing me from ever going there:

1: Moderators are not technically TMK staff members. (In other words, Mario Maniac, becoming a moderator won't help your chances any.) I mean, even if a genuine staff position did open up on TMK, I doubt I'd be an ideal choice because the area of the site to staff likely wouldn't be my forte. Although I am interested in helping with the site; that is, whenever a position opens up that I'd be good at staffing.

2: As of right now, I will not be 18 until this December.

3: I will not be out of high school until June 2005.

Still, I've seen many pictures of E3, and it would be a fun place to go. At least, from what I've seen, wich likely is not that much.

Sapph, you sure grumble clearly.  I can't go either, because I don't graduate from high school until June 2008, I won't turn eighteen for four years and two months, and [insert I.S.'s first reason here].

I couldn't go either.  I turn 18 and I graduate from high school in 2007.

Now, how popular must your website be for you to be considered official media?
