Oh...
I heard from another board that this is actually a 3D rendering made by a Nintendo fan.
Of course, I can't prove it one way or another, but it still looks very nice.

That can't be true.
For one thing, why would it have USB ports?
Anyway, from the looks of it, it's someone's render of their dream GameCube system.
As for the specs, I don't really think they would release them this soon. Do you?

Impressive, but still unbelievable... Why wouldn't Nintendo announce a project "Nexus" yet if this is true?

At least it's not as big or bulky as that "other" system we all know and fear...Xbox! Nooooooooooooooo............!
People who like video games should also like Nintendo. People who don't like Nintendo obviously don't like video games.

Nintendo has never been one to release details until they absolutely had to. Nintendo probably won't reveal their new console until E3 or Spaceworld 2004 or 2005. Also, "Nexus" doesn't seem to go with the theme of Nintendo systems. They're catchy, but they're rarely obscure like that. They're usually more simple, like Nintendo 64, or Super Nintendo Entertainment System. You see my point?

They canned Spaceworld. They'd have to reveal it somewhere else.

Oh right, I forgot Nintendo isn't doing Spaceworld anymore. It'll probably be at E3 or one a Japanese trade show. And I stand my speculation that it won't but until 2004 or 2005.

>> nobody take the G/C (the greatest Gamers Convention east of the atlantic) into consideration. Last year the Xbox live was presented... and this year N.O.E. gets a real big exhibition stand (more than 400m²).

Hmm...I STILL say that they won't announce anything until at least 2004, although it would be extremely wise to get a jump on things and get it out before the other guys can. Look at how that worked for Sony. They released their console a little over a year earlier and they have about 5 times as many units sold.

It'll be a while yet before anything really surfaces about their new system. GCN is still young.
Plus, whoever made this fake spec sheet wrote "Gameboy". The official name is Game Boy, not Gameboy.
