But all the dinosaur references have been replaced with turtle and mushroom references, and the movie no longer ends on a cliffhanger. So at least it came marginally better.

Because this bugs me that every three weeks someone comes along and revives this old place, they post in it for three days, then nothing! The same thing happens over and over again, now it's really starting to tick me off. (Pardon me for the language Chup, I just needed to get that out.) Can we all just let it rest rest peacefully? It was fun, but everything that starts has to end.

Dude.........Sushieboy, this topic holds a lot of memories for the people who go here at the Fungi Forums. If you haven't noticed, it was around before you even got here. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just stating a reason as to why we should keep this thread alive.

SushieBoy: 'Cause posting gibberish in The Pointless Topic is so much more productive and worthwhile than having various conversations.
So I beat EarthBound today. Great game, it is. If it is released on the VC, I owe it to Nintendo to download it immediately. If it takes too long I'll buy the SNES cartridge on eBay. After playing I really hope Ness stays in Brawl... In Melee, he was supposed to be replaced by Lucas, the guy in Mother 3, but since the game was delayed Ness stuck around. And we'll never get Mother 3 because the Japanese don't seem to like us, so if Lucas is in Brawl instead of Melee I'll be unhappy.
Other Brawl-related things spoken of in #tmk include Dr. Kawashima's floating head appearing as the brain behind Master Hand and Crazy Hand, and the Fighting Wire Frames being replaced by Miis from the player's plaza. Imagine Cat Dude, The Scream and your family members beating the fruit juice out of you in Cruel Brawl. Brrr... If this fantasy comes true I'd better delete Chuck Norris.
