Amazingly the town was still alive this morning. No disconnects. So there's hope for it staying on during my vacation.

LD, if Nintendo says your router is incompatible, pay no heed. Mine is incompatible according to www.nintendowifi.com and i've gone online countless times, so even if your router isn't listed as compatible, have at it.
