I know, the cartoon sucked. Originally, Dain Ironfoot (hint hint) rushes with the 500 dwarves to battle Bard and the lake-men in the book. In the cartoon, they just stand there with Gandalf between the armies, crying in a lame voice, "Behold! The Orcs are upon you!" Bunch of BS. ;)

A tie between SMW2: YI and SMRPG for me. Super Mario World came in close though. I still like the old game.

Major Tolkien fan. :) Yea, the movie's gonna rock. They're saying it's the biggest movie production in history.

First, Mario Party 3 will be released on May 7th. However, the North American Game Boy Advance launch will be on June 11. Hmmm...:)

Second, I'm a Pieces. I have two planets: Jupiter and Neptune. The more, the better. :)

Ironfoot, dressed in a black cape and trench coat, topped with a barret and sleek sunglasses jumps out of a warp pipe leading to the Wario Empire. He hides behind a bush admiring the view. He pushes a button on his sunglasses, which activates his little mini computer inside his glasses. "Welcome Johnny" said the computer in a monotonuous tone. "Yeah, thanks." Ironfoot said to himself. "When was my last visit here?" "20 years ago." replied the computer. "Wow...time flies fast here." Ironfoot said to himself. He turned on his CD player which had Joe Satriani's Speed of Light. Ironfoot pushed a button on his CD player, which activated a forcefield around him, making him invincible and invisible as well. "Love these little gadgets." wispered Ironfoot as he layed back on the grass, listening to the music and looking at the contestants of the RPG.

Speaking of Majora's Mask, there is a Mario cameo in the game. Go to the Clock Tower and look behind the mask dealer. He'll be wearing a heavy sack. Look to the far left of the sack and guess what you'll find there? A Mario Mask! Check it out.

Yup, it looks like the "Mario Advance" title is turning out to be some kind of port from SMB2. Personally, I would love this game on my Game Boy Advance. :)

Shoot yourself out the cannon outside the palace while wearing the wing cap. Fly directly to the tower above the stain glass picture of Peach, and you'll go inside it! Who's inside? Luigi! YOU HAVE FOUND LUIGI!!!!!!!!!!!

Mario Chat / Re: Mario vs. Sonic (or: Nintendo vs. Sega)
« on: January 07, 2001, 11:30:57 AM »
Hmmm...a lot of people have been out of the news recently. Well, I'll fill you guys in.

At the end of December, The New York Times reported that Nintendo was in talks to buy out Sega for $2 billion. Very exciting news indeed. However, the news was proved false after both companys denied any buyouts. Anyway, just recently, a news report came out stating that Sega was to develop for Game Boy Advance. Again, this is just a rumor, but this story seems more likely to come true. Sega has always been interested to develop handheld games. Personally, I would love to have Sonic on my Game Boy Advance. Wouldn't you? :)

As for the Xbox, EGM (Electronic Gaming Magazine) has recovered pictures of the Xbox design and its controller. Microsoft's ticked off now, I bet. Cut and paste these into your browser if you want:

Ugly, isn't it? ;) That's enough news for now.
