Thank you, NintendoExpert. Oh, and as for the chef, Wario and Pit were the rather obvious choices. Wario especially.

I've got a question:

In SMW and NSMB, you can keep an item in reserve for later use. However in the actual game world, where does Mario keep these items? They just seemingly fall from the sky. Does Mario keep them in his pocket? Looking at some of the artwork of NSMB, Mario doesn't even have pockets.

I have some new ideas:

Mini Mario toy: Remember those mini Marios from MvsDK? This is basically just that. He's 16 inches tall, 7 inches wide and extremely adorable! He even has a wind up key on his back, which, when fully wound up, will make him walk in a straight line. Pushing down on his head causes him to speak 1 of his 7 phrases. He even comes in a plastic sphere, just like in the game! He costs $17.99. Trust me, he'll have you ohhing and awwing over his cuteness in no time!

Mario operation: It's operation, with a Super Mario twist! All the items have been replaced with things like Koopa shells and mushrooms. All of which you have to pick from Mario, himself! Actually, forget this idea. It's too gross to elaborate on.

Who could forget Digimon? I loved that show as a kid. The ever changing, always interesting story was great. The digimon, themselves, were cool. The digi-world was so mysterious, wacky and awesome. That show was pure ownage!

Forum Games / Mafia Forum game
« on: August 15, 2006, 12:39:28 PM »
Hi, ya'll! I wanted to make a new forum game, so I thought, "Hey, why not bring the popular Mafia Forum Game to TMK?"  Sooo...I did.  Right now.

The basic game play goes like this:  There are 2 main types of players; the civilians and the mafia.  Every night, the member(s) of the mafia will decide who they want to kill.  Once they decide, they'll PM me to inform me of who the person is that they want to eliminate.  I will then write a paragraph describing how the person was killed, sometimes bringing in other people to the story.

After that, everyone in town, mafia included, votes for the person they want to lynch.  Whoever gets the most votes will be hung from the gallows.  I will then reveal what type of rank the "lynched person" was. Example; a civilian, mafia, etc.  In order for the civilians to win, they have to hang all the members of the mafia.  In order for the mafia to win, they have to kill everyone in town (except for themselves, of course!).  Also, when voting, people must post their votes directly in this topic.

There are 2 other roles as well.  One of them is a police officer, who can kill anyone he/she suspects to be in the mafia.  The police officer can only kill ONCE, every 3 days.  The other role is a doctor.  The doctor can revive anyone who has already died.  The doctor can only do this ONCE every 4 days.  The police officer and doctor must PM me to inform me of  who they want to kill/save.

Note:  The police officer and the doctor can both be eliminated, just like everyone else!

RULES:
-Once you die, you're dead.  You cannot vote nor can you suspect anyone.  You'll have to wait until the game is over to play again.

-I will inform mafia members of who their partner(s) in crime is.  Other than that, you CANNOT tell anyone who you are.  Only you shall know which role you are playing; mafia, civilian, doctor, police, etc. For example; Mafia members cannot tell civilians that they are a part of the mafia. Another example: Civilians can't tell other civilians they are a civilian.

-Please don't whine if you die.  If you want to play again, feel free to sign up after the game is over.

People who have joined:
-Glorb
-cantthinkofaname

So, that's all folks!  Sign up in this topic.  After a few days (or whenever I get enough players), I'll send PMs telling each of you which role/character you have been given.  Roles will be distributed in a random fashion.

Mario Chat / Re: How come Nintendo doesn't respect the DKC series?
« on: August 15, 2006, 08:59:34 AM »
Well, that's true. But the rest of the kongs were featured in Donkey Konga 1, 2 and 3, DK:KoS and it's upcoming sequal, Mario Superstar Baseball and the upcoming Donkey kong:Bongo blast just to name a few. Also, DK had a Rambi stylized kart in MKDS, so he isn't entirly forgotten.

Well, IS, at least every life guard (among other people) at the pool saw what you did, right? That woman should have thanked you for what you did. I guess some people are just uncaring.

What next? Will somebody be reprimanded for defusing a bomb since "The guy who made the bomb spent a lot of time making it"? Or because it's considered "property damage"?

I believe it's Rabbids. It's a nice pun on the words "Rabbit" and "Rapid". Well, I think it's a pun on those words...

Oh, and I noticed the Rabbits (or Rabbids) on the pages, too. This months contest in NP should have been that if you can find all the Rabbids hidden in the magazene, a copy of the game would be reserved for you and would be delivered to you as soon as it comes out.

...a creative what?

The idea I was talking about was the idea of using the Bongo controller as a means of controlling DK. Sorry about that. Truth be told, I've never acctually played DK:JB before, but I have heard how you play it. The way you use the Bongo controller to control DK sounds fun.

...Looks down? Nintendo dosen't look down on the Donkey Kong series. Namco made a whole new controller for the purpose of Donkey Konga. Nintendo wouldn't make a new controller for a game based on a character they look down on. Also, jungle beat was well accepted among the gaming media, dispite it's departure in style from previous DK platformers. It definatly had a creative idea.

Do each of the pawns have 3 seperate sayings???!

Oh, no. The pawns each say the exact same things.

Also, I have a new idea;

Blooper sponges: Basically, they're sponges in the shape of bloopers(those squid enemies). However, when you squize it's head, Dishsoap, shampoo, oil or whatever you put in it's head squirts out. Perfect for washing dishes! Each pack includes 3 sponges and costs $5.99

Mario Chat / Fake new Mario merchandise
« on: August 14, 2006, 11:34:10 AM »
As the topic states, you can post your own ideas for new Mario merchandise. I'll start;

FLUDD: As seen in Super Mario Sunshine, FLUDD is now available on toy store shelves everywhere! It's basically a water gun that straps onto your back. All you have to do is pull back the two handles, and you'll be squirting water quicker then you can say "Mario". The box also includes a hover nozzle, which you can use to hover in the air for at least 5 seconds, but only if your under 200lbs. Nintendo is also experimenting with a rocket nozzle that can shoot you 20 feet in the air, and a turbo nozzle that can launch up to speeds of 32 MPH(42 in water). Fludd comes in 3 sizes (small, medium and large) and will retail at a price of $59.99.

Mario Bobble heads: Highly detailed bobble heads based on the popular Mario franchise (obviously). These awesome looking bobble heads will be sure to make any washer or dryer a lot more exciting! Series 1 includes Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Bowser and Donkey Kong. Series 2 would include Wario, Waluigi, Koopa troopa (red and green shelled), Bowser Jr. and Toad. Each one costs $4.95.

Mario chess set: Since Nintendo knew a "Mario chess" game really wouldn't catch on, they decided to release a Mario themed chess set out to the market. As an added twist, each figure has a button that, when pressed, will make them say a phrase. Each character comes equipped with 3 phrases. The chess set comes with 32 pieces, one board and costs $12.05
