Weird spending habits too.
Remember that your first Goomba boldly you walk? When Mario touched that mushroom being brought up more largely remember that you are surprised? Miscalculate your jump that pit remember that it falls?

Oh man, I'm slow.  I actually had to go back and reread the conversation, then read your post again before I got what you were saying.  I guess I'm just used to it.

Well, after that I changed it to Dr Pepper-Colored Yoshi and now it's He who kills people that say "lol" too much. When I have a good short one, it sticks for a long time.

I am going to pick on one of my friends here because he used to say this a lot. It deals with an old away message I had, it was Puddle of Mudd's "Blurry" lyrics (back from before I got really into Europop).

FIRST CONVERSTION.

My friend: Hey man, are you still planning on going to that ballgame tonight?
Autoresponse from me: "Blurry" lyrics
My friend: Nice song but that away message is kind of depressing there, mate!

SECOND CONVERSATION.

My friend: Sorry I had to leave math class early today, my headache was out of control. Did you get the assignment?
Autoresponse from me: "Blurry" lyrics
My friend: Dude, you should change that away message. It's been depressing for a whole week now.

THIRD CONVERSTAION.

My friend: Dude, CHANGE YOUR AWAY MESSAGE!
Autoresponse from me: "Blurry" lyrics

The third one struck me as funny. I actually saved it as a text file on my computer so I could show it to him later just to see his reaction (he groaned and said that it was from my "depressing away message" phase).

Currently my away messages either say what I'm doing, are cheering on some sports team (right now it's the Detroit Tigers), or are lyrics from "Long Way Home" by ATB. I think I still have "Blurry" saved as a preset one but I haven't used it in almost two years.

I think this thread is worth a bump and I finally figured out how to save convos without copypasting into a Word Document. Here's an excerpt from last April right before Sean Schemmel was invited and interviewed about his work.

IshtarTZ (3:03:56 PM): you know what ****es me off?
Daxdiv (3:03:58 PM): How are TZ new features treating you
IshtarTZ (3:04:11 PM): people who defend DB Evolution and claim it's only failing because fans sucks
IshtarTZ (3:04:12 PM): *suck
RogueHarmony (3:04:18 PM): what
Daxdiv (3:04:27 PM): wut now?
IshtarTZ (3:04:33 PM): in my manga class
jonnjonzztz (3:04:42 PM): ish
jonnjonzztz (3:04:45 PM): you been on tz today
RogueHarmony (3:04:45 PM): oh wow
IshtarTZ (3:04:46 PM): I saw someone who said it was the best film of the year
IshtarTZ (3:04:51 PM): and defended it
jonnjonzztz (3:04:52 PM): they added a bunch of social feature crap
Daxdiv (3:05:13 PM): The hell
jonnjonzztz (3:05:13 PM): a lot of anime fans are pretty dumb
jonnjonzztz (3:05:21 PM): watchmen was so much ****ing better
IshtarTZ (3:05:23 PM): [wtd]
jonnjonzztz (3:05:24 PM): than dragonball evolution
Greatkid no2 (3:05:27 PM): so, they're JT clones?
Greatkid no2 (3:05:32 PM): :P
IshtarTZ (3:05:36 PM): most anime fans hate DB evolution
Daxdiv (3:05:38 PM): I rather watch 4Piece over DBE
Darklordavaitor (3:05:39 PM): Coraline, too
IshtarTZ (3:05:43 PM): but the few who do actually like it
IshtarTZ (3:05:45 PM): **** me off
Daxdiv (3:05:47 PM): 4PIECE
IshtarTZ (3:05:51 PM): because they are in such denial
IshtarTZ (3:05:56 PM): I even gave reasons why it sucked
IshtarTZ (3:06:08 PM): and he's like "they were just being creative"
Daxdiv (3:06:10 PM): I was planning on seeing it in theaters today
Daxdiv (3:06:17 PM): but I wussed out at the last minute
jonnjonzztz (3:06:18 PM): haha

Am I to assume this was created before "classic quotes from forum members"? (which really was just "funny thing people said on #tmk")

They were made around the same time, but the other one caught on because most people here has a preference for IRC and because boo-penguin.

I like AIM better though. I just wish my old chat group didn't dissolve because of inner conflict.

EDIT: Actually wait, the first post in Classic Quotes was made in June 2004, but it didn't take off until the IRC room was created. Sorry bout that.
