Mario Chat / SMS Madness
« on: September 16, 2002, 04:37:20 PM »
Well, I've got a couple good ideas for SMS toys:

A Mario doll complete with detatchable FLUDD pack.  You can actually fill it with water, and collect other toys.  Such as Bowser, Yoshi, Peach, locals, toads, etc.

And picture this: A water gun just like the FLUDD.  Fill it up with water, strap it to your back, and have an awsome water fight.

And picture this: SMS on GameBoy Advance.  Mario squirting in 2D!

Mario Chat / Memories of a golden path via Mario
« on: August 20, 2002, 08:06:40 AM »
Do you ever think about the past?  Of the Mario games that you were playing long ago, and you had never beaten them before, and new surprises.  I remember on my 11th birthday, when I first got SMRPG.  It took me forever to get to Mushroom Way, and since I didn't know squat about RPGs, I didn't level up, and kept losing against the hammer bros.  When I finally beat them, I remember facing Croco countless times, and even getting to level 5 before I fought him.  I remember how many times I had to go through the wedding sequence cause I kept losing to Bundt.  I remember struggling to beat Exor, and buying several pick-me-ups to face Smithy.  SMRPG was probably the best Mario game I played, and I had so much fun going through it the first time.  Like the Sunken Ship: I could not figure out that password!  I tried letter combos, asking my parents, teachers, everything.  And I finally looked it up on the net.  I loved this.  I was so into the game that I drew pictures of Mallow in school, and even designed my own Super Mario RPG cards.  I would talk to my friends about my adventures throughout the game, since they never played it, and had such a blast going through it.  I still love the game, I must admit, but it will never be the same feeling going through it as it was the first time I played it.

Thank you!

Mario Chat / SMB2 was not hard!
« on: August 19, 2002, 08:13:18 AM »
Apparently, I heard a lot of crap about SMB2 being the "hardest" Mario game.  Thats bs in my book.  It has the least amount of levels, and it's actually pretty easy for me.  Wow, Nintendo, you think Birdo's so hard.  She's so **** easy though.  Some guy on the internet said that he didn't like the fact that SM Advance was TOO HARD!  HAHAHAHAHA!  That's funny, he must really be bad at Mario games.  I think that SMB2 had a fair challenge, but its not the most challenging.  Heck, if you ask me, I thought SMB3 was more challenging when I first played!

Mario Chat / I beat Yoshi's Safari!
« on: August 09, 2002, 08:12:30 AM »
Well, I hooked my SNES to my good TV and I got carried away beating the entire game of Yoshi's Safari.  The Koopa Kids are so cool in that game with their machinery, and it was good to see the Koopa Kids again.  Then there was like Chargin' Chuck and Big Boo and such, and finally, Bowser.  It was kinda crazy cause it was Princess Peach instead of Toadstool due to translation error!

Video Game Chat / Play NES games on your GBA!
« on: August 09, 2002, 08:07:37 AM »
Great news, especially for the staff of the "We Want the NES Back Foundation".  Nintendo heard our 8-bit cries for revival of classic NES games.  Apparently, Nintendo is releasing a "Card Slider Thingamajig" whereas you put this thing in your GameBoy and slide cards through it.  On the cards are classic NES games.  Wowee!  Imagine that, unchanged NES games that you can take anywhere and be so classic.  So far they have:

Donkey Kong Jr., Pinball, Tennis, Excitebike,
and Balloon Fight.  They will go with the thing known as the "E-Reader" and every card costs 5 bucks.

The release date for the "E-Reader" is September 16th, and will cost $39.99, and I'm definately getting one!

Video Game Chat / SNES game list
« on: August 07, 2002, 08:38:09 AM »
Super NES is by far my favourite system.  I think it has much much better games than any other system (I also love games for NES) but basically, it's my fave.  I mean, if you love RPGs, the only way to go is SNES.  Here's my 34 game list:

1. Battletoads/Double Dragon
2. Captain America and the Avengers
3. Chrono Trigger
4. Clayfighter: Tournament Edition
5. Drakkhen
6. EarthBound
7. F-Zero
8. Illusion of Gaia
9. Izzy's Quest For the Olympic Rings
10. Jeopardy! Deluxe Edition
11. Joe and Mac
12. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
13. Lemmings 2: The Tribes
14. Mario Paint
15. Mega Man X
16. Mighty Morhpin' Power Rangers
17. Out of this World
18. Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure
19. Speedy Gonzales in Los Gatos Bandidos
20. Star Fox
21. Super Castlevania IV
22. Super Mario All-Stars
23. Super Mario RPG
24. Super Mario World
25. Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
26. Super Turrican
27. Super Turrican 2
28. T2: The Arcade Game
29. Tetris Attack
30. Vortex
31. Wild Snake
32. WWF: Super Wrestlemania
33. Yoshi's Safari
34. Zombies Ate My Neighbors

I own the original cartridge for all these games, and I feel lucky to have 'em all.  I also own the Super Scope 6, and Super NES Mouse.  Some of these games are worth big bucks!

I also have a GameBoy Advance and:
1. Super Mario Advance
2. Mario Kart: Super Circuit
3. Wario Land 4
4. Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2
5. Castlevania: Circle of the Moon
6. Mega Man Battle Network

Mario Chat / Some more stuff.
« on: July 25, 2002, 12:13:14 PM »
Well, in Super Mario Sunshine, there are breakable bricks like in the original Mario, and there are 8 stories per world.  Each one has 9 shines, and it looks **** cool!  I can't wait to rent it when it comes out because I don't have cube, nor am I planning to get one soon, for I have wasted all my money on my GameBoy Advance and my 5 games for it, 4 of which are Mario-related.  I have Super Mario Advance, Mario Kart Super Circuit, Wario Land 4, and Super Mario World, as well as Rayman Advance.  So, I spent all my vacation money on my Super Scope and Yoshi's Safari and my 5 other games for Super Nintendo, so I only have $20 left, and that's not enough to get a GameCube, so I hope I get one for Christmas or something with Super Mario Sunshie, cause that game looks and sounds like it rocks!

Mario Chat / I've come extremely close to beating Tetris Attack!
« on: July 25, 2002, 11:57:01 AM »
So, do you guys own Tetris Attack?  I've owned it for a while, and with me and my sister, we're unstoppable at the game.  I've made it all the way to Bowser on Hardest mode, but I haven't yet beaten him.  What happens when you do beat him?  Something different, or does that little dumb*** Little Yoshi come?
