well, if you check out arcadepod.com, you can find Mario-related games such as "Masao" which is like Mario Bros., and "Chucky Eggy" which is similar to Donkey Kong.  Also I have a game on my old old computer known as Crystal Caves.  It has about 1000 Mario references in it!  (exaggerated) for instance: Mushrooms, warp pipes, hidden blocks, etc.  Does anybody else own it?

Hey yo. I made a game, and you can download it from my website.
www.geocities.com/super_mario123187/downloadables . Mine is Alleyway 2. If you remeber Alleyway from Game Boy, try this!!
I made mine with Game Maker 4.

Maybe I'll make a game sometime... hmm...

Nope, I'm not a mod, (about as close as you can get, though) but I'm just about the most trusted member of the TMK 1337 (who is not a staff member).
And I have over 4000 posts.

I fear the monkey in your soul.
That was a joke.

@Dairy King

Game Maker 4? Never heard of it, is it an easy program to use? Like for non-programmers, and is there a link to the official site you have?

I made a Mario game, it's called Mario Ghost Hunter, it's my first game, but pretty entertaining. (You have to kill the ghosts and not get killed by the Blue Dino guys, after you kill the ghosts, give up and suicide)

Here it is

Game Maker is a program I read about in TMK Mailbag. This is a link to the page that the people who use game maker send their games in hopes of having it published on the site. www.cs.uu.nl/~markov/gmaker/games.html
A whole bunch of really neat-o games. Try Ness's Christmas Adventure. It is pretty funny. I am currently working on a Pac Man Clone to any one who cares.

Does anyone know where I can find a PC game that's exactly like the original Mario Bros., but with one of the South Park characters (Stan? Kyle?) in Mario's place?

« Reply #28 on: March 16, 2003, 10:50:02 PM »
I don't think you'll find a South Park version of Super Mario Bros. anywhere, unless somebody is bored enough to re-create the whole game, just modifying the Mario character.

But, Super Mario Bros. can be found on the web, illegal versions, but it's Mario.
