is this a joke
I'm serious...

...or more specifically, i just want a little more form Nintendo's stuff. I like the comic books and manga based on Nintendo fiction. I want some of that in the nintendo games.

Peach Toadstool was awesome in Super Mario Adventures. Why can't she be this awesome in the games, while not acting like a typical girly girl?

Sorry if I'm being harsh, but I honestly find Nintendo's Characterization and Lore severely lacking. Seriously, they can't make good characterization for crap! They either ignore potential characters or worlds(Sarasaland), or ruins them completely(Princess Toadstool/Peach wasn't that bad back then. She could have been made into a better character) either because of Pride, some "Honor Code", selfishness, or just laziness.

Really, I feel alot of what Nintendo has could have been more! I know all of you out there feel the same way in some aspect!

I also feel this way for the world(or Universe) of Capcom as well.

*sigh* ...the thing with Malstrom is that he still believes in the values of society from older times, which he respect more than what occurs in modern times.

He also, as well as his followers, prefers gaming to go back to tradition values.

He hates the concept of saving, because it takes away the fear of dying. Lack of Game Overs(as well as lives), takes away the penalties and punishments of failure. There's no real reason to progress and gain anymore!

He likes characters better when they were nothing but vessels for the players(Samus Aran is nothing but whoever makes her to be, not Sakamoto).

He liked the limitations of video game technology because it forces developers to think on their decisions while making games.

There's a lot more on what he misses. Remember, it's all about business.

Particularly, "Mario was the First Mii."

For those who don't know of his existence, he's a businessman who looks upon the financial history of video games. And he loathes what it has become, especially regarding Super Mario Bros.

Here's three topics regarding Red M. What do you think?

The Chef has the right idea. Cloud is the Final Fantasy character; if you asked a hundred people which series protagonist was their favorite, you'd get a handful of responses each for Cecil, Terra, Squall, and Tidus, with the majority of the responses being Cloud. Picking another Final Fantasy character for a crossover fighter would be like picking Raiden instead of Solid Snake or DmC Dante instead of classic Devil May Cry Dante.
To Nintendo Nerds, he's not! The Job Classes are the faces of Final Fantasy!

The thing with Cloud is that he is the manifestation of SQUARESOFT'S flipping the bird at Nintendo at 1996-1997 just for not using CD's at the time. Ever since, there has never been a major SQUARESOFT(now, SQUARE-ENIX) Title on a Nintendo Console(Handhelds notwithstanding). All on Playstation! Not the mention that Cloud himself was(is?)considered responsible for the many JRPG Protagonists with ridiculous weapons, shoddy clothes, and unlikable personalities(what most fans say).

That's why some don't like him.

Wow. I forgot how different many of the games were in terms of their aesthetics. I guess by making them more accurate to the source, they made them less interesting?

Of course, if you ask me, I would point out to Miyamoto and his group not giving a [darn] anymore.

That's.....still not as bad as having like 587 Mario characters on the roster and 432 Mario stages on the stage select.
And as a Mario fan, you're not happy?

Pffff, in this particular game there's entirely too much Mario content. "Nintendo All-Stars" my left toe.
Compared to Kid Icarus: Uprising?

Well, how do you feel about the way the Mario Cast is treated in these game so far?

I still hate it because Mario doesn't act like Mario. For one thing, he never smiles!

So, how do you guys feel about the Mario-related content in these Games so far?

Personally, I don't really like it. Mario & Luigi don't really act like Mario & Luigi, hate the idea of Peach using a Toad as a Meat Shield, Bowser isn't voiced by Kenny James, & No return of Princess Peach's Castle? What Gives?

Video Game Chat / Re: A Nintendo Wii Pokemon Channel

I don't know how to explain it, man. I played them, and they just weren't that good. They didn't have the feel of Red and Blue. The storyline of the first game was just flat out fun, and hen Gold and Silver came out...............I just don't know.
But isn't FireRed and LeafGreen remakes of Red and Blue?

Would anybody want a Pokemon Channel for the Nintendo Wii? One that's not at all like the Gamecube?

"Most Greediest" is superfluous. You could use "Most Greedy Character" or simply "Greediest Character."

But I agree with Solid. Wario has been greedy since he was a baby!
Sorry, I didn't think of the grammar error.

General Chat / Most Greediest Character
« on: January 12, 2007, 01:52:59 PM »
Who do you think is the geediest, most money-hungry character ever? I was thinking a Japanese anime or video game character was greedier than an American cartoon character, but...
