The 8th star is obtained when you get 100+ coins in a level.  The star appears beside your coin total for that level if you've collected it.  I'm pretty sure I got a perfect coin score for the first level.

well i did it on the first star.

there were 4 crates that aren't normaly there and i got 3 coins from each (my total is 147 since i killed 3 goombas and didn't get the coin in time).

i can upload a picture of my score to prove i have all the stars if you want.

BTW you listed my peach slide time but megabytes name. I really don't care if my time is on there i'm just pointing it out.

Pictures would be nice.  I don't need them, but they might help others here believe you.

Did you beat Bowser?  Was there a star for it?  (I don't remember from the N64 version.)

Where are the crates?  I didn't see anything extra when I entered star 1.

Luigison: please update my Luigi and Wario scores.

oops double post

yeah i have beaten all 3 bowsers and the only star you get for beating him is that really big power star that doesn't count towards the total.

there are 2 crates across the bridge right next to chain chomp and 2 in the gate leading to the mountain

I think I have everything for TMK updated now (see date/time of post).  If I missed anything please let me know.

I'm still looking for images of Mario, Luigi, and Wario profiles and/or a Wario Cap from SM64DS.

Should the level names be in all caps like they are in the SM64DS?  What font is used in the game?  Is it readily available?  If not, where can I get it?
