In a game that's old enough to be referred to in the past tense, you'll have to be more specific.

It was GOING to be collectable, as in, WAS, but, Nintendo added the door instead of deleting the object itself, and just removed the code around it.

"Added" in the sense that they put it in the game in the first place? Let me reiterate: You cannot collect the book in any version of the game. It is unobtainable in the Japanese version just like it is in every other version.

It WAS going to be collectable, but Nintendo did the lazy way out and just added a door

and you're right, you cannot collect the book in any version of the game, but I SAID it was able to be collectable

Door isn't a language, so you can't translate it.

Sorry, but it was exactly the same in the Japanese version as it is in the American version. You can't get the book in either version of the game.

I forgot to add something in my last post :

This WAS in the Japanese version, before NoA added the door, apparently NoJ already had a door to block it, and they just translated it

You had to retrieve it or something for the old man.

NoA just added the door instead of removing it outright
