That's not how lazy eye works.  Lazy eye happens pre-2 years old because that's the critical period for visual development.

Is lazy eye when one eye wanders, so the person looks cross-eyed? Or is it when he has a droopy eyelid? If the former, what do you call it when the person has a droopy eyelid? Droopy Eyelid?

Well, dangit, if you cover one eye long enough, something's going to happen...

Yeah, but it's not like this so-called emo hair is actually blocking all vision in that eye.

Someone here needs to ask an emo WTD it's like to have one of those do's.  Then maybe we'll get somewhere.

^ Believe me, I tried... well, I actually just said something along the lines of what I said earlier about developing a bad eye, only in the form of a question--then I left. It's okay, I know her.

Uh, yeah... having hair over your eyes still usually allows a lot of sight.
That was a joke.

I heard* you can even still see the eye through the hair a lot of times.

I let mine get past my nose, It'd bugged the heck out of me, so I got it buzzed.

On topic: Pirates covered one eye with a patch, so when it gets suddenly dark, they have one eye already adjusted. I wonder if that gives you the same advantage.
