Having Saturn's emissions playing while scrolling through this thread makes a lot of the previously boring pictures seem a lot creepier.

Especially the one of CE7.

TEXTp is, or was, Youtube's April Fool's prank where you could have just about any video display as ASCII art.

Unfortunately, it only existed for one day, and I was a little disappointed to see it disappear so suddenly.

Grab VLC, change its video output to color ASCII art, and you'll have TEXTp mode for any video you happen to have. I just wish you could change the text size and window size to give it much better resolution. Without being able to do so, the video looks pretty lousy.

I don't know if this is appropriate for the board, so I'm willing to remove the link, but this is pretty scary:
