It seems that Nintendo left some tracks on the disk that we're going to be put into brawl put never were. The most intresting of them all is the Beware the Forest's Mushrooms one from Super Mario RPG. Could that be a hint towards that Geno was going to be in Brawl? Also it seems that most of the lost tracks are Mother/Earthbound ones.

No, you've got it wrong.  Those were songs planned to be in the game, and had references to them left on the disc.  However, the music was not included on the disc and the "lost tracks" were collected from other sources, but are not representative of what was actually cut.

oooh ok now I see. I also just relized that there is a empty spot next to wolf on the credits thing after you beat the game on classic mode. That could be another hint towards their being 1 more fighter that was going to be in the game.

Scratch what I just said.  While Ballad of the Windfish, PiT boss battle, and Beware of the Forest's Musrooms would have made awesome selections in Brawl's library, I've heard that remix of BotFM at Galbadia Hotel under "Super Mario RPG Arranged Tracks".  I think this might be a hoax.
All I can say on the Boss Battle theme, Brawl has quite a bit of tracks unchanged from their original mixes, so it's possible that this song might have been planned to go in the game, and it would have been perfect as its original mix.  BotWF, can't say I've heard this remix before.  So this could have been remixed by Nintendo or a fan.

That actually could have worked if they had used Melee's system of selecting random characters.

There were several fighters planned who didn't make it into the game.  References to their data is also on the disc.  And none of them are Geno.

Why did Gritzy Desert get in instead of other songs from Partners in Time (the Boss Battle being cut is understandable; it went on forever and was moreso annoying than memorable..)

A good track would have been the title screen, where they could have also mixed in the SMB theme, much like they did in the actual game. That has got to be my favorite mix of the Mario theme to date (not counting Brawl's version, but I haven't heard it yet..)
Kinopio is the ultimate video game character! Who else can drive a kart, host parties, play tennis, give good advice and items, and is almost always happy??

Maybe because it fits well with the Mushroomy Kingdom stage. Since it's all a wasteland. I like that song how in was on the DS. But I don't like how it's remixed now. On a related nore. thank god that "SUPER SONIC RACING" is in Brawl. you gotta have this one.

SUPER SONIC RACING
GOTTA KEEP YOUR FEET RIGHT ON THE GROUND

too bad it's a CD. But I made a CD factory and got it easily. I wish "Work it out" was in there too. Just listen to it:

I am being serious here. the songs are so corny it's awesome. Lol offtopic.

^ Everything except Sonic Boom blows.

Well, though I liked the first M&L better, PiT's songs were catchier (honestly, a lot of them--topped off by the credits music/art--had a real Tim Burton vibe). Gritzy Desert was always stuck in my head (maybe along with Thwomp Volcano)...

Thought I heard somewhere about fan-made remixes of songs that should have been in Brawl... and I don't know if these are that fan-made collection or not. In other words, I don't know whether these are official (were going to be in the game or cut), fan-made (never going to be in the game), or just fan-made remixes of what was going to appear in Brawl (song is correct but different from what was going to be added).

That said, Beware The Forest's Mushrooms TOTALLY should have made it in, considering some of the more completely-battle-inappropriate-music that made it in like the Donkey Kong Country map. If that made it in, this should have made it in. And since Sonic and Snake and Olimar made it into Brawl... even frickin ROB... Geno's not out of the question.

Yoshi's Cookie Type A is a longtime favorite of mine (someone remembers the game!), but again, sounds like it has no place in Brawl.

But it's a plausible list simply because there's cut EarthBound/Mother music on that list, knowing how much of an EarthBound nut that Sakurai and HAL are. "Because I Love You" is I believe the ending theme to EarthBound, which is just a slower version of Fourside (Melee already had a Fourside track). Hippie theme was a favorite of mine in EarthBound, so specifically it's 0:35-1:08 of the Hippie theme I like, though in hindsight it really isn't one of the more memorable EarthBound tracks. I'd say the Stray Dog enemy music in EarthBound is more recognizable. *watches EB videos* Gosh darn it, Diamond Dog reflecting the Multi-Bottle Rocket has to be one of the more brutal attacks in a game.
You didn't say wot wot.

Honestly, to put the issue to rest (at least on my part), there are a handful of songs I'd say have "no place in Brawl" (what's up with the Tetris music, anyway? Didn't know they had the rights to that one...).

Well I read that some of the songs he posted were remakes of the ones found. So I don't know which ones are the real ones or just remixed ones made by fans. All I know is that they might of have been on Brawl.

It is indeed, but what I meant was that they didn't do anything with it. The allegedly left-out renditions of Eight Melodies, Because I Love You and Smiles And Tears are fantastic. I'm not a huge fan of music they just cut and pasted, like the forest theme from Kirby & the Amazing Mirror... GBA-quality sound on the Wii = no good.

Also the Famicom Medley could've been a lot better, but it's sloppily thrown together like nothing else.

I believe they are referenced somewhere in a text file. This does not mean that they were ever produced at all, though.

The renditions were completely speculative and don't represent what may have been planned for the game.  The only thing left in the game itself was the song list.

And some of the song choices themselves are speculation. For example, the Partners in Time boss battle theme is meant to represent the track labelled "MLRPG02", which could be anything from either M&L game.

The mini-boss theme from Super Mario 64 would've made a nice track... or is it in Brawl, and I just haven't unlocked it?

No, it's not in Brawl. I agree that it's a good track, but it's only about 35 seconds long (before looping). Medley, anyone?

A longer one (but still nice) might be Koopa's Road.

Dang, I miss SM64...  my N64 got destroyed, then I lost my copy of SM64 DS (I still have no idea where it went)...  I've been forced to listen to the soundtrack and play through the levels in my head.
