Nope.  It was verbatim.  I noticed the typo myself, but thought that correcting it would sort of infringe on my claim.
And I have no idea what a skunkle is.

Mario Chat / Re: Why Don't we just get a chatroom?
« on: March 14, 2002, 09:54:58 PM »
What I always thought would be grand would be to make sort of a playable chat room.  Have it so that the user could select a Mario character or something, and then it would be sort of like a game, where everybody else in the room is represented there, and you can hear anybody nearby...  Sort of like a massive online game, but not oriented to that point (they're hard to make.)
Then there'd be a lot of pointless things to add, such as the pointless environment, character expressions with macroes, etc...
...
Oh well... there never seems to be enough time to make that sort of thing.  But it still would be grand.

Alright, cable04, check if this site's match for Chinese sign/western sign is any more accurate.  I'll copy it in verbatim:

TIGER/Cancer

Does wood plus water sound a bit soggy to you? Could it be that you don't appreciate the stay-at-home silent type we have here? The slower the pace and the warmer the home fire, the more sedentary your Tiger/Cancer will be. All that Tiger deep thinking and sensitivity will be compounded by the Cancer's need for a warm haven to call his own. The Tiger side of this character will want to rush about making things happen only to be met head-on by the homebody side of Cancer. Hypersensitive to criticism and less willing than most to listen to advice, this crabby Tiger may also be just that from time to time. Jolly the old crab along. Cancers love to be in positions of authority. Out of curiosity, take a survey in your office. Note the many executive Cancers. And don't be surprised if many of them were born in Tiger years. Te coalition of the two signs is a match made in heaven.

...
And one more thing:  how much are your chinchillas and golden yoshis in coins?  I just won a x64 in Game Guy's roulette, so I've got some extra coinage to spend.

MamaMia Mario, if you give me your birthday/month/year, I can find out the details of the Chinese horscope for you:  animal, element, and short description based on the two.  If this isn't what you meant, then I can't help otherwise.

Yeah, Anime's great, but I prefer the kind that you don't see on cartoon network.  Cable/network TV anime tends to be badly dubbed, horribly edited, and minced to pieces during the "Americanization."
"Ah!  Frothy mug of water!"

I do like Tenchi Muyo, so long as it's not Americanized, but there is a much broader range in great anime than most may think:  Neon Genesis, Evangelion, Akira, Vampire Hunter D, Bloodlust, Dirty Pair, 3x3 Eyes, Trigun, Castle Cagliostro, Riding Bean, Ah! My Goddess, Key the Metal Idol, Princess Mononoke, Ranma 1/2... many others I can't remember right now... it goes on.

Hmmm... Personally, I don't think that one's signature should be longer than one's average post.

Site Discussion / Re: Post messages on my board!
« on: February 03, 2002, 02:16:53 PM »
Super Yoshi 7175, you constantly complain about Grimsack, and of how he was a cancer to this board, and how everyone is better off with him banned.  Yet what, exactly, did he do?  Is the internet not in support of free speech?
Yet in this site, of course, there are rules, restrictions on what may be posted.  Grimsack's crude manner disobeyed both the "no swearing" and "no flame war" rules.  Aside from being a cynical and upsetting force (there are no rules against that,) he did have legitimate reason to be banned.
You make yourself to be a figure of justice, Super Yoshi 7175, for having sent the e-mail that resulted in Grimsack's expulsion, but haved you read the other rules?  The fourth one prohibits blatant advertisement of a website.  I've seen topics closed and edited for this offense.  And though I don't wish to be one to point fingers, I've seen several posts pop up about the boards about nothing else but an advertisement for your own site.  You've even gone into a few completely irrelevant posts and added nothing to the discussion but a request to visit your site, with its new message board.

Don't take this harshly, but if you really adhere to justice, I suggest you take it into consideration.

Hmm..  I guess 1213 is fairly good for Roy, as I've only gotten to 813 with him, but I wouldn't call him the best.  I've gotten 2206 with another character...

And pntzoee, there's nothing strange about someone doing well with Yoshi.  I use him more than and better than any other character; he's quite a versitile and advancable character.

Roy for the home run contest?  What's your best record with him?
Oh, and my least favorite character as a FOE is Ganondorf.  I've had several unforgettably evil experiences against Ganondorf.
As for all around least favorite... I dunno... Pichu?

Mario Chat / Re: I had a strange Mario dream
« on: January 13, 2002, 07:55:32 PM »
I just had a Mario dream:
I drempt that I was playing Smash Bros. Melee, and had opened up a new mode of multiplayer gameplay.  After playing through this with several characters, new things started opening up, such as new levels (another Earthbound one, some Egyptian one, and some other one with a weird grid,) some options on characters to change certain attributes (though I couldn't tell what the announcer said that they were,) an advanced team-play mode, that let you queue up characters, so as to switch to the next set when the first ones were defeated, as well as a slew of new "limited" characters, the only one of which I can remember being Big Boo.  I then woke up, thinking that such modes and secrets actually existed, eager to get to work unlocking them.  Then, after a few moments, reality set in.
Grrhrr...  I hate it when my subconscious does things like that to me...

Game Help / Re: How do you get Luigi in SMRPG
« on: January 13, 2002, 04:30:52 PM »
Eh, pntzoee, wrong game.  He's asking about SMRPG not SSBM.
As far as I know, Link, there's no way.  It could just be a doctored pic.
However, if anybody else knows any better, feel free to correct me.

Hmm... I don't exactly get what the tasks are going to be, but with actual players in the roles of the characters (instead of just the static-ness of the author controlling everybody,) this could be interesting...
...
I might as well join.  I'll be Yoshi!
Or, to be official, "i want to be Yoshi in the game"
