Viewtiful Joe is not bad for ANYTHING so it does not deserve that vote.

And I hate all Mario sports. My vote for best is for none of them, my vote for worst is for all of them.

I'm not big on the sport games, but I'll vote for Strikers and Strikers charged since I kind of like playing soccer.

It's still not a cameo in Alleyway, despite the fact that Sqrt2 seems to think that whoever wrote that it is on the game's page on the main site has the final word on the matter.

Best: Mario Hoops 3-on-3.

Worst: The rest of them except for the Mario Tennis and Mario Golf games.

I actually like pretty all of them. The N64 ones are dated, but I won't hold it against them. The Strikerses are really good. Toadstool Tour is relaxing. The Game Boy RPG-type ones are incredibly addicting. 3-on-3, while a bit frustrating at times both in difficulty and controls, is really creative and a lot of fun. Sluggers is great (though you may want to ignore the story mode), and has almost enough characters to satisfy me. DDR:MM has some pretty cool music and a really good difficulty range for me. MASATOG is a bit disappointing, but not horrid by any means.

Best: Mario Tennis GBC

Worst: Mario Pinball Land, if that counts. If it doesn't, then no vote. I honestly can't think of a single Mario sports game that I don't like.

The only way it's not a cameo is if it's a full-fledged Mario game. And it's not. Unless you also want to say that Pinball, Tennis, and Punch-Out are Mario games. It's true that there are no other characters in the game besides Mario, but it's not a character-based game, so that's not a significant observation. Mario is thrown in as an afterthought.

Look at it this way: If a puzzle game has all the blocks falling down from the top of the screen the whole time, it's a falling-blocks game. But if a FPS has a block fall on you in one level, that doesn't make it a falling-blocks game, even if that falling block is the only block in the whole game.

What's wrong with Mario Power Tennis?

BEST: Super Mario Strikers

WORST: I don't really dislike any Mario sports title. Mario Golf is probably my least favorite, but I still enjoy playing it.

I'm just waiting for them to release Super Mario American Football.

I can't really think of a BEST, but I can give you a WORST: Mario Superstar Baseball. It was fun for a short while, but all of those asinine things you had to do for each individual character really made the game longer than neccesary. I'm all for replay value, but cheese! As an aside: I really don't understand why Bowser Jr gets to be a captain, but Toad doesn't.. It just defies all logic..
Kinopio is the ultimate video game character! Who else can drive a kart, host parties, play tennis, give good advice and items, and is almost always happy??

Best: Mario Power Tennis / Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour (gotta love Wiggler and Shadow Mario!)

Worst: Mario Superstar Baseball (its batting control scheme was way too difficult to grasp. I stopped playing after two days.)

To the people who dislike Mario Power Tennis due to power shots: Why complain about something that can be turned off?

BEST: Super Mario Strikers.  Tons of fun with friends.

WORST: Mario Golf.  It should've been more than just a realistic golf game with Mario characters.

I've heard that Donkey Kong Hockey is pretty bad, but I'm not gonna pass judgment until I actually play it.
