Except that it would likely contain a lot more characters than SSB, some of which probably couldn't possibly work in a fighting game, and would also be developed by a company that's more adept at the Tactical RPG field, like Intelligent Systems.

Notice how ALL the Mario RPG's have Mario recover some star related object? Those star thingies from SMRPG, Crystal Stars, Cobalt Stars, Star Spirits, the Beanstar. When will the stars ever leave us?

I think they have found another thing besides peach to go after, so there trying hard to keep the fans happy. Although going after two different things each game is kind of annoying.
