Melee's pretty sucky anyway. I went and played it for some time a couple of days ago between Brawling and man. Everything's so weak. The attacks are weak. The people are weak to them. Everybody sucks. It feels borken.

But I miss Mewtwo (who didn't even get a real replacement), Pichu (and his Brawl trophy looks awful... so does Mewtwo's), Dr. Mario (Pills! More of them!!), and to a lesser extent Roy (whom I hardly know). But I guess they had to go. That'd be too many Pokémon and I'd rather have Red than Pichu... Dr. Mario should have been a costume for Mario. As far as I care, the Links just got updated. I miss OoT-based old Link more than I miss OoT-based young Link, Melee Zelda acted more like TP Zelda, and Ganondorf's new beard is good for snapshots that require bearded guys*.

*Brawl is the first Smash Bros. to feature bearded characters. I'm about to add this to the fun facts on the main page of the Smash Wiki.

...but if you say that it "made it" a "borken" game, then you can't be blamed for playing a "borken" game before Brawl came out.

Look, sometimes a game is just borken. Melee happens to be more borken than Brawl, but Brawl didn't exist then, so we had to settle with Melee.

Exactly. And I could say, "But who knew how terribly unbalanced Melee was until Brawl?" But it was pretty noticeable.

I hope you all know that, like "Dukar," "bork" is TMK terminology and the joke is on whomever was attempting to make it look like I was the mistaken one.

The true sign of a great sequel is when it makes the previous game seem unplayably bad, even though you once loved it.

I finally got done filling out some forms so I can (hopefully) get on disability. I felt that quite a few of those questions were rather personal though and didn't feel comfortable answering them. I just hope that the mental exam I have tomorrow goes better...
