Site Discussion / Re: Age, Etc.
« on: February 24, 2001, 08:14:35 AM »
In Real Life:
***: Male.
Age: 12. (A lot of people were shocked when they learned my real age, actually. Probably my shmart typing. **eats a cookie proudly**)
I live in: Good ol' New York, by the island, lemme tell ya.

In Role Play: (McMoon as being my character.)
***: Male.
Age: 85. (I'm lucky Magikoopas live for thousands of years, ja?)
Lives: Nowhere in particular. Travels in between Yoshi Island, Ikana (Ehkana) valley and "Koopa Country", or just the land the Koopas live on.

Kinnichi wa. I am McMoon MagiKoopa, Kamekku-sama''s sochi (son). I am a master of Koopa sorcery, and I am quite wise for my age. And if you call me grandpa, I will royally kick you punk behind. Heh, heheh... (c) YoshiDude.

Well, if you get beat up by a plumber, a marshmellow and a doll, jump into lava and then come back as a pile of bones, we'd call ya Deezombone. Couldn't resist.

*cough* Don't ask, Super Mario humor. Eheh...

I actually find both SMRPG and SMW2: YI to be equally the best Mario Games ever, besides Super Mario Brothers 1, a classic and still lots of fun to play on my totally outdated, moldy ol' NES. O.o()

Mario Chat / "L is real."
« on: February 24, 2001, 02:38:19 PM »
What is "L is Real?" In Mario64, it's on the star statue in the courtyard, and in Zelda: OoT, you can read it off the sign in Dodongo's cavern. You can find these if you zoom in real close. That's the weirdest thing I've read ever since "All Your Base Are Belong To Us". Could this be the sign that Luigi is in Donkey Kong 64 and Dixie is in Mario 64?! The Lost World must be in Mario Kart 64 where you could find the new character "Wizpig"! And then Leiberman blows up Yoshi's Island because if you capitalized L in island, it looks like a gun. Yup, that's my theory. And then, when you go into the new hole in the ocean where the island was, you can find the Ice Key and three ? Eggs! Uh-huh, and my grandma is Regis Philbin in drag.
No, really, what do you think "L Is Real" is? I want opinions!

Mario Chat / This has a little bit to do with Mario but... *click*
« on: February 24, 2001, 08:32:45 AM »
..since this mini-forum has the most popularity, I'll post here. =P

I'm here to talk about my origin. Well, actually, I mean, which online community I came from, and so on. I come from a LARGE group of Yoshi/Koopa/monster/etc. role players.
I do believe Deezer has met "Luna Yoshi" (who made the picture of Yoshi in the Mariopedia) once, she is also part of these role players (only, she doesn't role play much anymore, just works on her site and chats.). In this community, instead of normal Yoshis and Koopas, we would role play as ANTHRO Yoshis and Koopas (characters with human-like features.). Any other characters, such as Goombas, Pokemon, and whatnot, are usually NOT ANTHRO.
I, for one, am one of three Magikoopas in this community (Magikoopas are scarce these days, 'ey?). There are MANY, MANY Yoshis in this community, some Pokemon, and some Mario monsters. (And, of course, many newbies and lamers that spam from a chat room called the St. Anne, and other chats that we are not aware of the names or their URLs.)
Once in a while, you would bump into a unique character there, like a Yoshi/Pokemon mix, or a Protoss/Yoshi mix, or sometimes just a human.

Just wanted to point out my online origin to you all and hope you find it interesting. If you would like to know where you can find the most famous chat (possibly the only chat today) where these role players chat, if you promise not to spam or yell or anything like that, please e-mail me at Ski2Mars79@aol.com or DrunkyKong01@aol.com. Thank you. Oh, and one more reminder, we sometimes get angry if we're in a bad mood, but, hey, fugged'aboudit. We're nice people, really.

Mario Chat / SMRPG- The best Mario game for Super Nintendo?
« on: February 23, 2001, 09:19:55 PM »
Who really thinks so? I mean... They only had Koopa Paratroopas, no normal Koopa Troopas (Unless you count Terra Cotta and Terrapin as Koopa Troopas...). And they didn't have Kamekku-sama (Kamek) in the game, they just had "Magikoopa". And what's the deal with "Spikey"? Why not just leave the name as "Spiney"? And Shy Ranger, what is up with that thing? (Er, it's a golden Shy Guy that you'll occassionally see if you fight Pirahna Plants, only, it runs away in the very beginning of the battle. [HP: 300, Attack: 100, Defense: 80 EXPpts: 60 ~ SMRPG Guide]) Er, well... that was the end of my rant. Answer my question, is it the best Mario game for SNES? No, really, I really want to know.
