PS this sounds A LOT like the Banjo-Kazooie fake final battle, you know, the board, but you have mario trivia spaces instead.

RANDOM MARIO GAME FACT: In level Extra 3 of Yoshi's Island, there are actually 21 red coins. Count 'em yourself! I am not insane!!
(actual fact!) don't believe me, I counted them! 3 times! there are 21! HAHAHAHAHAHA

I beat this game several times, so here goes.

To unlock other tourneys, just win Marion. It isn't that hard, you only need to go about even par, possibly 1 under.

To do the putting ranges, talk to one of the people on the putting greens. They will challenge you to a putting contest, and you must get 7\10 inside the circle, but you get 25% more exp if you get all 10. But I think you need to win the Marion Tornament to open Palm club, the Palm tourney to open Dune club, and so on.

Win the Marion Tournement and all your questions will be answered...

1. I don't think the new Zelda game style will work.... Those games are directed toward an older audience, and a cartoony look would hinder their buying the game.

2. Mario Sunshine? Yes, that is a game for younger audiences, so If you don't like the plot fine. But what makes it "gay"?

3. I wanna rub this in. The word (phrase) is "more gay" not "gayer".

hahaha very funny.... Have you even played Extra 3?

Anyway, I checked and rechecked and I counted 21 again, I even collected the last red coin after reviewing my inventory (pause) screen and seeing i had all 20 red coins....

I have 2 theories:
1. The producers thought no one was good enough to get all 21 (there is 1 that still annoys me, it is hidden in a post, and there is a rotating 4-platform lift thingy over it) and didn't mind to correct it
2. The level maker, "proofreader", and producer can't count to 20.

or maybe it was a mistake, that could be it. But I have confirmed that there are really 21 red coins. So ha to any of you doubters... ;)
